in my tendencies to over-observe Naruto and all that it is, I stumbled across an interesting piece of "hmmm". I'm sure plenty of you have already noticed it, but i thought i'd point it out anyways.




we all know kakashi's nin dogs. most people probably wouldn't dwell on them for long, since they come and go so fast, but since I'm obsessed to an unhealthy degree that will probably have me failing out of college sometime in the near future, i came upon a somewhat disturbing discovery.

these dogs are the genin boys of konoha. and even though we all know what they look like, i'll post pictures, cause pictures are fun.


chouji = the big one (obviously)


Lee, the one with wide eyes on the right


Kiba, the one with the wicked grin and devil eyes behind "Lee"


Naruto, the one in back with wiskers and forehead protecor on his forehead


Neji, the lil one with stuff on his forehead


Shikamaru, the one that's always looking up, at the clouds i'm assuming.


Shino, the one with the mad cool sunglasses.


and Sasuke = Pakkun, as they are both Kakashi's lapdogs. and i'm sure on some level Pakkun feels he's "more special" than the rest of the nin dogs. especially the one with the whiskers...

if i had any skill in photoshop, i would've put their faces right over the dogs, but, alas...

hope everyone enjoyed that, and if you're not convinced, i hope you are at least amused.

and who was it that had proposed the notion that Kakashi sewed all the little nindog outfits himself? that thought still cracks me up.

I'd sort of noticed the Naruto one, but not the others. Excellent observation. And I'm going to agree with you that the one people have been saying looks like Gaara is more a correspondence with Neji, as they're all Konoha boys and Gaara being there would mess up that parallel. Also in the drawing, the kanji is in the middle of his forehead instead of over his eye.
