Hey I was wondering about the recent naruto manga released.
Didja all notice that Sakura has some very lewd poses's? like when she dodges the arms like I was like whoa. and my little.. well not little 12yr old cousin was all like "WOW thats hot!"

any of you notice that too since you all know sakura really didn't have any specail talents before but now she has super strength and slutty pose's

Oh, for christ's sake. Sure, it's a bit fanservicey, but look at the logistics.

Sakura: "Oh, look, I'm going to die if I don't dodge. But wait, I better make sure I land in a non-promiscuous and child-friendly way!"

Sakura is not a slut. Kishimoto may be playing up her new assets, but really, if you're being attacked by freaky arms, your first worry isn't going to be landing with everything covering - it's going to be landing with everything intact.

Agreed!~ Naruto was never seemed big on fanservice to me anyways. Even Tsunade with her huge boobs was never slutty or anything. I don't see what the deal is. :D All the guys are still hotter.

Naruto SHOCKS me with the lack of fanservice. There is the odd Oiroke no Jutsu... and other than that, it is fairly uncommon. It's nice, really. Very nice. And the characters dress nicely and well - not the bare minimum. Naruto girls are, gasp, dare I say, usually on the practical side with clothing!

agree with you on the fanservice thing - but I dunno its refreshing I guess, and bearing in mind their ages too :P not that thats stopped other manga/anime series in the past, mind

right so that makes her about 15.5, all the events before the time jump took place over about 1 year, so before the time jump she's 13, and 2.5 more years make her 15.5, unless i totally failed at the math there. so at the most shes 15.5, at the least shes 15

I'm sorry but I never saw any justification for this. There was never a time period for anything except the time jump. Sakura was 12 at the time of the chuunin exam and she was 12 after. We never got any indication that she was 13. I just don't see where you get this from. If you could show me, I would be very happy.

besides what toki_usagi said, it just isnt possible for the stuff before the time jump to take place in uner 6 months, it isnt physically possible.

btw i brough up this age thing, cuz when u said the thing about ur 12 year old cousin, i didnt really read it at first, and though u were saying that sakura was 12

I think it's just to show how much she had to twist to avoid Sasori's attack (ie: it was a very fast attack), but I _did_ notice the lovely way in which she landed. ^^;

Kishimoto's a LONELY, lonely man....

I'm kidding, obviously ¬_¬ for those who like taking things alittle TOO seriously.

I mean, this is all in good fun, y'know?

So what, so she has her ass in the air?

Whatever, all I can say is that, if Kishimoto wasn't the genius that he is, he would've made Naruto into some horrible fan-service-filled anime that nobody likes.

I'm pretty sure he just drew it like that to see how it would look, no perverted intentions or anything.

And like everyone says...

The girls just can't compete with the guys...
it's impossible...
Especially with someone like Itachi...

I think it's about DAMN TIME that she wasn't so USELESS!

We ALL know Kishimoto's a sexist... close to ALL the females in the anime are completely or close to useless and fall apart in tight situations(Tsunade, with the blood thing, Sakura with her 'Sasuke' thing, and that girl that's in the anime now; Ayame?...useless), leaving the guy to rescue her.

I'm sick of it.

Even though Sakura hardly improved(I'm sure once Sasuke comes back, she'll melt into the useless puddle that she was back-in-the-day)

But, whatever, it's better then nothing, I suppose.

But, regarding the 'pose' thing. You guys are reading WAY too much into it.

Kishimoto's a man, and this is his first manga. He's admitted to not knowing how women think, or what their strengths and weaknesses are. Let the man cover that in his second series. Besides, look at Rurouni Kenshin. The women in there were weak at the beginning, and kicked ass at the end.
and Tsunade! She's not a useless character. The women who play a major role seem to be getting more powerful. Cut Sakura some slack, people. She was a 12-year-old girl. Of course she wasn't as strong as the guys.

I think you're reading way too into ^^;

All I was saying, at one point or other the females become useless.

And well...Of course she's a twelve-year-old girl... but if she didn't have that stupid infatuation with Sasuke, I'm sure she would've been much stronger.

Besides, Naruto, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Kiba... They're all tweleve... but why are they much stronger then the girls on their team? I mean, I'm sure the teachers' are bringing them up equally, but somehow the girls are still weaker...

Anyway, the stereotype in Japan for women is for them to be useless and to depend on the men.

Nevertheless, I was just saying that because it's true.

It seems that when a female character comes around, and she kicks ass(Tsunade) there's gotta be SOMETHING or another stopping her from becoming more. But, don't get me wrong, I think Tsunade's a great character(she's one of my many favorites).

But then, the guys, who have more severe problems, they seem to get over them within the fight and pull through... I dunno, it could be just me.

But yeaaaaah, you gotta tell me I'm not the only one seeing this.

Again, I'm just sharing my opinions.... You have yours(and everyone else here has their) and I have mine.

I respect you opinion, though.

I'm pretty sure Kishimoto did that only from his lack of experience. Not intentionally to make females that way, or to portray then like that.
