"The second title from the SJ Home Video line will be Naruto. Individual DVDs will come out starting March 2006 and will come out every other month, but these will be edited. Viz will be releasing uncut DVDs in 13 episode boxsets that will be released starting 7/2006. A price point has not been determined for DVDs as the acquisition is very new."

I'd rather they released full 26 episode season boxed sets like they did with Ranma and Inuyasha, but I guess 13 is okay.

Uncut or not, I don't have any interest in buying 50+ 3-episode DVDs. With a series this long, box sets are the way to go.

You know some crotch dropping is gonan scream and beg his soccer mom to buy him all 50+ individual DVDs. I hope for her sake they're the uncut ones and when she sits down and watches them, she'll have a coronary.

If they cut one minute of anything from the series fans would raise hell and demand an uncut release.

Sexual humor and and violence past a certain level just won't fly. I see no reason to take this as a sign the show will be edited anymore than it has to be. Cartoon Network is pretty liberal in what they'll air, but sexual humor and violence past a certian point just won't fly.

The fact that the uncut DVDs are coming out in boxes strikes me as nothing but a good sign for Naruto.

I prefer season boxset DVDs though. But I guess it'll be faster for me to save money to buy them between the months the boxsets releases. and a year seems long right now...but times going to fly so fast.
