chuunin_archiveHear me out: Zetsu speaks strictly in Katakana (I don't remember if he did so back when he first popped up after naruto/sasuke). Now, in every japanese video game I've ever played, speaking strictly in Katakana means you're a robot, computer, or robotic computer. So Zetsu might be some kind of ninja robot!
Of course, it's far more likely that he speaks in katakana just to make him stand out (like the flytrap wasn't enough), or to emphasize the fact that he might be machinelike in nature. A true cold-blooded killer.
