[Edit] Sakura kicks so much ass. How do you defeat an enemy that won't retain injury and who you can't off in one hit? That's probably what Sasori's asking himself right now. But he has another 296 or so puppets left, so we'll see how he answers that question.

I'm glad we caught some more glimpses of the Naruto/Kakashi vs. Deidara/Chocobo fight.

Seeing Kankurou and Temari was interesting, I guess... I wonder if they're heading out or something.

I'm really curious to see what Tsunade said to Sakura in the flashback. I'm torn between getting sleep and camping out for a translation... *sets up camp*

Sasori's expression on the last page is so amusing. And you should be aware that all the evil bishies in Naruto have died within the same arc they were introduced in, re: Haku, Kimimaro.

Sasori can't die yet. That second Akatsuki cloak needs to come off and we need some more fanservice. (Hey, it could happen. Kimimaro started stipping.)

Even if it lasts that ridiculously long, there is one good thing to say about the anime additions: they have always been good to Sakura, portraying her well and giving her nifty skills or moves she doesn't appear to have had in the manga.

So we can expect a lot of gratuitous fighting moves in which she, hopefully, does more cool stuff. And Sasori, too. (Fanservice fanservice fanservice!)

I think Temari and Kankurou are setting out. She said something about "going," and I can't imagine them popping up to say, "hey, our little bro and village leader is in mortal peril. Let's watch Trading Spaces!"

But Temari was last told to hang back and guard the village or something. Kankurou recovering wouldn't change that. Though, I did want Temari to fight, and still do, so it would be pretty cool if they went out and helped with the fights despite this plothole. I'm beginning to wonder if Team Gai have all perished yet; they may be in need of some assistance at this point...

Heh. The last panel pretty much answers your question. Poison them good. Eat it Hulk Sakura. Yeah sure, antidote, blah de blah...bu she can't use it if her entire nerve system is shut down and her respiratory system is paralysed. >:)

In the last panel, this what Sasori hdanna basically has to say;

毒が効いてきたな
すぐに体が痺れて動くなくなる
ほっとけば三日はもっとが

The poison has worked. The body is immediately numbed and movement lost. If it's not treated, in three days......

(Of course Hulk Sakura has probably been assisted by Plot Cheese whereby she's taken an anitdote that works before you're poisoned, or some such Cheese, but for now...Yay!!!)

I think what I would like to see is Sakura out, Granny Chiyo defeated and the Sasori and Kankurou rematch! XD Come on, that boy deserves this rematch! He got surprised last time, but now he has a better idea of what he's up against I want to see what he can do. ^^ (I know in terms of distances and times, this might not work, but...I can dream!) XD

And rejoice for there is one whole clear panel of Deidara-ness! Hooray! (They just popped in to remind us that they are actaully doiung stuff and just fangirling their various love interests. :P) Also, the utterly gorgeous Kankuro, in paint, but without the hat...*swoon*

I was wondering about Sakura's hair too. She must have let it grow during the two and a half year absence for some reason. At first I thought it was because she wasn't doing any missions so she didn't have any reason to keep it short, but that doesn't really make sense. Just because half her team is gone, that shouldn't mean she still isn't assigned missions (does it?).

... eh. Sorry about the rambling. Perhaps the question will be answered when the translation comes out (though I doubt it).

well her long hair was definitely deliberately drawn by Kishimoto, because it looks a lot different from how it used to be when she was younger. or maybe it just looks different cuz she's not wearing the headband ^^;;
