Cosplay related question.

I'm working on a Sasori cosplay in his first puppet form, and I wanted to ask your guys opinion on his tail. It's a colorless manga, and I doubt Sasori will be in the anime by the time the costume is shown (Otakon), so I was wondering what color you think the puppet tail will be. I always assumed it was a sand color like Gaara's gourd, but I've seen some Japanese cosplayers make the entire tail red. I planned to make it sandy and the connectining orbs red or black, but I wanted to know how you guys envisioned the colors. :D

I'd envision it as the same colour as Kankurou's puppet limps, that sandy/beige/grey(?) colour? maybe with a red tip? *shrug*

I agree with you but maybe a purple tip cause the poison in naruto is purple as seen in the shizune Vs kabuto fight when she breathed it out yes?

I think a sandy color like sandelwood. Though following a black and red scheme like asian lacquer might be really nifty too. It might be a deviation, but pulled off it could work!

Laquering them will be hard, just because there's about 20 individual panels, and they're paper mache, so I think it'd be a little too hard.

[Yeah, we have a whole Akatsuki group for the masquerade. And aslong as it doesn't interfere with anything, I'll be at the gathering, with our Deidara watching out for my tail. XD;]

Totally random, but I've always liked your art things [ohnoes anthro+Naruto crossovers!] and stuff like that and I must say- your Kyuubi cosplay/fursuit [I DON'T KNOW WHICH IT WOULD BE] is turning out totally awesome. I also see that [I am a stalker, sry] you're cosplaying Hinata which is.. awesome.

For Otakon I'm only cosplaying Itachi [well, from Naruto, at least..] but I'd totally bring my Hinata cosplay if it wasn't so damn warm in Baltimore. ^^;

Oooooh, Sasori! Me and a group of my friends will be various akatsuki, too! Hmm... I guess I'm the only one but I always thought his tail was made of metal (dunno why tho) but regardless, you rule for actually making that thing in the first place! *claps* See you there!

I have no imagination, I pictured it all black XD But I think black with the connecting orbs red would be hot.

I wish I was going to Otakon...no fair :(
