chuunin_archiveRight. ^^ I said when I got back I would post what stuff about the anime in the near future I could, so here we go. :)
As you'll see, no Gaiden in sight yet. All these 'spoilers' are out there in Japanese, so the information is there and been seen, but there is some detail about the storyline, so please don't read if you don't want to know. ^^

A powerful key in the vigourous search for Sasuke's whereabouts is discovered! Hikouchuu (lit. 微香虫delicate perfume insect) can be used; it's said that with just a little scent, it can search out a person. Naruto joins with Shino, Kiba and Hinata, and they leave on the search for an insect!

200４年に公開された劇場版短編「劇用版、ＮＡＲＵＴＯ ー ナルト ー 木ノ葉の里の太うん動会」を
放送！優勝Ｔは１週間の休みはもらえる運動会でナルトに緊急事態発製！？
The theatre short story exhibited in 2004 - Naruto Konoha Great Sports Meeting" is broadcast! For the victorious team a week's holiday can be won in the games. But Naruto has to make an emergency departure...
Basically, they are following up the showing of the movie with the short, in between (I think) the two episodes. ^^ I found it hilarious myself, as it appeals to my slapstick sense of humour, but if you don't find it funny it's still great fun to play spot the cameo appearance! (Itachi and Kisame in the toilet queue!)
TV Tokyo's site gives more about it all generally;

Chapter 147; Fated Confrontation! I will push you down!
ミズキが放つチャクラの質とパワーに、ナルトとイルカは圧倒される。ナルトは影分身の術で立ち向かうが、ミズキに一蹴されてしまう。ナルトを守るため、イルカはついにクナイを取り出した。
はげしい戦いの最中、ミズキの体に異変が起き、虎男のようなすがたに変身。パワーアップしたミズキだったが、イルカはそのスピードがおとろえたことを敏感に感じ取り…。
Naruto & Iruka are overwhelmed by the quality and power of chakra which Mizuki releases. Though Naruto fights by Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, Mizuki (rejects/repels his efforts). In order to protect Naruto, Iruka draws his kunai. Although an accident occurs in Mizuki's body and he is transformed into a 'weretiger' (lit; 虎男 tiger man), in the midst of the intense fighting, it is disguised (goes unnoticed). Mizuki powers up, but Iruka sensitively (to the fight, I guess) gets wise to his speed weakening......
(Lee noticed this of Kimimaro too, and it's presumed to be due to the body adjusting to the change - or perhaps the new weight. ^^)

Chapter 148 "Akamaru should be jealous of it's super pursuing powers ! The search for the phantom of the Hikouchuu!"
木ノ葉隠れの里で、キバ、シノ、ヒナタは火影をたずねる。「微香虫」を使ってサスケをさがすというアイディアを伝えるためだった。微香虫とは、忍犬の数千倍もの嗅覚を持つ虫で、においのもとをどこまでも追っていく。かつて油女一族が使っていたらしいが、今ではごくわずかに生息する幻の虫だ。産卵は数年に一度で、今がちょうど孵化の時期にあたるという。キバ、シノ、ヒナタの３人、そして話を聞きつけたナルトに、火影は微香虫さがしを命じる。
In Konoha, Kiba, Shino and Hinata ask the Hokage (about their) idea of looking for Sasuke using "微香虫" (びこうちゅう Hikouchuu, literally 'delicate perfume insect').
(A) Hikouchuu is an insect with a sense of smell a thousand times better than that of a ninja dog, and it can keep chasing the origin of a perfume to anywhere.
(I was a bit wobbley on this...but I think that's what it says. ^^)
Although the Aburame family seemingly once used them, they are now a phantom insect, just living (a rare, endangered species). They lay eggs once every several years and now is exactly the time of hatching. The Hokage orders three people, Kiba, Shino, and Hinata, and Naruto, who heard the talk, to undertake the search for Hikouchuu.
I'll try to do 150 tomorrow; I am now finally tired. Conclusion; never touch caffiene in the evening, no matter how exhausted you are...:DDD

Date: 2005-08-16 03:21 am (UTC)I'm not too fond of this Iruka/Mizuki filler so I hadn't been keeping up, but I liked the last Rice country one. Hopefully the new filler will exceed the Mizuki filler. And there's more Teams in it. I feel happy.
My guess is they are probably going to cycle through all the teams before they go to Gaiden.
Rice= Team 7. Mizuki= Iruka and Team InoShikaCho. This filler has Hinata, Kiba, and Shino. So there will be one more filler with Team Gai. <3<3
I don't mind fillers that much, whatever they have to do to take up time so that the manga has time to skip ahead is fine by me.

I looked most carefully, as I was typing from the page...damn, the type is too small! lol! I am so short sighted I read it better without my glasses! lol!
