Personally, it exceeded my expectations. I honestly did not think it was going to be even tolerable. I'm impressed with the fact that they pronounced things, for the most part, correctly. They also kept a lot of Japanese terms. Thank you.

I neither like it nor dislike it. I find it tolerable. It's actually better than I thought it would be. I don't know if that's because it actually is tolerable or if it's because the clips prepared me for it. Hmmm. I want to try an experiment now. Pity I can't reverse time.

I'm liking what I'm seeing, outside of Iruka(especially chibi-flashback Iruka). The "Uchiha" pronunciation was the only one that really bugged me.

I still love Sandaime so much. My favorite Kage...I'd forgotten a bit. ^_^

Uchiha bugged me, "genin" bugged me, and the fact that the Toonami guy says "nah-ROO-to" when the ENTIRE DUB says "NAH-roo-to" bugged me a LOT!

The pronunciations weren't that great in my opinion. Uchiha and genin in particular. I thought the dub in general was fairly good though. I think that over time the actors will get more used to the roles and it'll get better.

If the voice actors would relax, then I can live with it. Other then that, I said no because I have perfectly great translated japanese Naruto episodes on DVD and really don't have to watch the english verison :3

All I don't like is Naruto's voice. A little too feminine, but otherwise, the dub was excellent, contrary to my earlier thoughts.

Voted other. I think the bad parts outweighted the good parts, but only by a little.

Best part: Ebisu!! He acts like a little drama queen, it's great. I think I like his voice in the dub better than the Japanese. Also Konohamaru was really good, the voices were really similar. I suspect good things from Ino in the future.

Worst part: Iruka and Mizuki. They were bad to the point of comical. But at least Iruka pronounced the names correctly. Mizuki was just... no. At least he only appears for a short while.

Naruto definitely wasn't boyish enough. And her acting was kind of mediocre. Buuut.. it might have actually improved a little in the 2nd episode. Once you get used to the voice, it's not all that bad.

I was really surprised they kept Sexy no Jutsu O.O;. And what's more surprising is that they keep the Sexy no Jutsu, but edit out the blood from the nosebleed. Really awkward looking. And what's the big deal? Doesn't everyone get nosebleeds? ALSO, what's really hypocritical is that they kept the blood from where Mizuki stabbed him with the kunais.

I liked it. The voices were good I think. People will disagree, but I did like Naruto's voice. My only compliant is how they say Naruto and a few other names. :p Considering in the commericals they say Naruto how I'm used to hearing it. Overall I think they did a good job. People trying it's the worst dub ever need to watch more dubs~ :o The OP/ED are horrible. No Wind? Crying shame.

It was decent. While much better than most dubs, there are still *major* parts of it I dont like. I have to give them credit for keeping so many things in of the original that they did. However, some of the VAs disturbed me and I"m sad about the openings and endings. But they did keep the background soundtrack, which is awesome!

So while it was still good, there are still so many things that disappoint me. I think I'll stick w. my subbed version. I'll come back along to see Sasuke and Kakashi's voice next week. And then Zabuza, Haku and later Gaara.

My brother had tissue prepared since he claimed it would make his ears bleed. Which it didn't.

I was watching an interview with Japanese director one time (And if anyone remembers who is please feel free to comment) And he stated something along the lines of the fact that you really can judge a series or its voice cast until at least the 6th episode because it can take that long for a voice actor to get comfortable with there character....


I for the most part liked the dub... I personally think a lot of people are over reacting..... but we are Naruto fans so it kinda makes sense...
