I liked everything except the mispronunciation of "genin" and "jutsu". And the theme song made me sad inside.

I think people are overexagerating a bit. I personally thought it was REALLY nice. It's only the first few episodes so nobody can expect it to be SUPER DUPER AWESOME. Konohamaru was absolutely adorable and hell, I loved Hinata! Naruto's could have been so much worst so I'm happy :D

I agree. I think the voices of Konohamaru and Hinata (what we heard of her) were near perfection. And yes, Naruto's could have been worse. I know I'll get used to it.

My 2 cents:

1. Naurto telling Konohamaru about being Hokage and defeating him, made me think of Ryu from Strret Fighter II.
"You must defeat the Hokage to stand a chance". XD

2. He also described Hokage like it's a wrestling title. XD What is it now, NWF (Naruto Wrestling Federation) and Hokage is the Heavyweight Belt? XD

Personally I disliked Naruto voice soooo much. It was one piece all over again. AWFUL! The adult male voices were decent and managable but the children..... ewww! Hokages voice was great and Konohamaru sometimes sounded like a less hyper Tommy Pickles (Rugrats) Also I got the feeling that some of the dialouge was off. For the most the background music was left alone and for that I am greatful. I KNEW that the theme songs where going to be that god awful because during the trailer on the website you can hear for a split second a guitar riff so monstrous you'd have thought that it was stolen from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles circa 1990's. It made me want a slimer....(if your old enough to know what that is kudos for you!)

Funny thing is at the same time on Bravo they where showing Good Will Hunting and I started watching that and sometimes going to CN inorder to go WTF!

Also for anyone who has seen the Naruto flashes from Naruto central... their Naruto was 3 times better. ALso from the snipet of Hinata I heard I thought she sounded exactly like the the boy that did the voice for her on the Naruto flashes.

Personally, I thought the dub was pretty awesome. The pronounciation of jutsu was a bit off, the prounciation of genin was really off (geh-neene as opposed to geh-nin, though for some reason they got jounin right) and I don't get why they cut out the blood part of the nosebleeds when they kept the other blood, but Ebisu's voice was awesome, Iruka's was okay, and Naruto didn't exactly sound like himself but his voice actor can act, which is all you can really ask for. They didn't cut anything out that I can see, and the opening wasn't as bad as One Piece's, which made me want to cry.

The one thing that really threw me off was when they were showing what episodes were on next right before the show went on was that they had Kidoumaru (who doesn't show up for another 66 episodes) representing the first showing of the second episode. Now all the newbies are going to wonder who the hell he is and now find out for at least another year. Kind of weird.

One thing I will give the show props for is the prounciation is fairly good but.... I just went NNOOOOOO when I heard Narutos voice. Its like Takafumi Tonami from Kare Kano dub so so raspy in a none good way.

I thought the dub was fine! I dunno what's with people complaining over the pronunciation over jutsu or whatever. Genin was kind of weird sounding I admit. I find it hilarious nobody criticized how they said Konohamaru, because it sounded REALLY odd. XD; ANYWAY to the point...

I'm sick and tired of people saying, "I HATE blahblahblah! RAR!" And then giving little to no reason why they hate it. I mean, wouldn't it be nice to make a nice argument or what-to-improve-on so whoever's dubbing it (Forgot the name. X_x;) can fix it. Well. If they happen to read it.

I think Naruto's voice fits the character just fine. Most people HAVE to agree, he DOES sound like a hyper young 12 year old boy, right? It's just people are pissed it sounds different from the Japanese voice actor. OH GASP! THEY DON'T SOUND EXACTLY THE SAME! *SUICIDE*. >_>;
And it's way better than young Sasuke's Japanese voice, believe me. >:P

I loved Ebisu! Everyone sounded fine to me, and I thought they were trying really really hard not to make "Naruto" rhyme with "Menudo."

"KonoHAmuhru" and "geNEEN" were the only weird thingies.

As was "Believe it!" for "dattebayo." That was a little cringie.

But it was really cool to see Yondaime's feet again.

I had always hoped that dattebayo would be translated like "blah, blah, blah, you know" or something like that. something easy to work in it wont be like " your a jerk Sasuke, believe it!'

I thought the Naruto dub was pretty well done considering that it could've been taken by 4KIDS and slautered like One Piece. D: But other than that.

I give the voice actors kudos because, well, they're the ones bringing Naruto to the American audience and we as fans knew that there were going to be some differences. Things in Japanese won't sound the same in English and it's the same if they pronouce our words in Japanese as well.

It's just a given and all in all, I really liked the dub even if there were things cut out or mispronounced. :D Nothing's perfect and I'm glad it came over here. Can't wait to hear Gai-sensei and Lee's voices. xD

...And I'm surprised they kept 'sensei'...o.o Yea, this is long. I'm done. :D

I hated the opening...XP its was horrible and the clips didnt even match up with the music...wow...

The second episode was much better than the first, but I thought Naruto's voice was pretty tolerable considering its in English. O.o I can't really think of anyone else who could pull Naruto off.

And I agree with you with the nosebleed edit I guess it was either that or the Oiroke no Jutsu being editted, yanno?
