Remember when we got the raw on Thursdays? Well, this is kind of close. ^^; Summary hit a couple days ago, but I wasn't sure if it was legit or not...now we have a script and camera pics of the raw.
SPOILERS AHEAD:
Kakashi's new eye blows Deidara's right arm off, Naruto gets Gaara back, Deidara is fucked in the ass.

One thing I want to add for everybody worried about Deidara. The picture only shows 16 pages. Almost every chapter has 19. In the script, Deidara says: "I'll be your opponent again sometime soon." So there is the possibility that he's escaped to recuperate. Not to get your hopes up, but he may make it out of this alive. ^^

Kishimoto might keep it a mystery for awhile(hell, we had to wait a long time to find out how he got the damn Sharingan in the first place), but he'll devote a chapter or two to it. Probably during a confrontation with Itachi or Sasuke.
He's probably been planning this since he revealed the Mangekyou in the first place, with the much-debated "third person" line.

at least this fight was fast, well too fast, but i won't be able to handle another excruciatingly long fight after just finishing one. 'sides from the translation it seems that deidara will probably escape and fight again in the future.

Date: 2005-09-16 01:33 am (UTC)I think fight was short so Gaara's revival in future will make more sense, I am sure he's going to be in some dead state for some time, untill Chyo-baba does her thing and saves him (I am pretty sure she will) so having a 10 chapter long fight with Deidara and killing off another Akatsuki member - not gonna happen. Things will go back to them treating Gaara and Team Gai getting some of the spotlight. That's what I think and I don't understand why people bitch about stuff, I thought Sakura's transformation was lamer then Kakashi's MS, he obviously was doing SOMETHING during those 3 years. Why give him some new jutsu, when he can develope something crazy like MS and have people go WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA all over the net? ;-)
