Just a random question. Are we POSITIVE that the Naruto Anime Company Inc. is going to go into the whole "older generation/three years later"? I mean, for all we know, these fillers will last forever and then in a year or two, they'll come out with Naruto Season II or what have you and THAT'LL be the older them. And it'll be treated entirely different like Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z?

No, the manga remained Dragonball to the end. But the DBZ tv series(which started when Raditz arrived) followed the DB manga still.

Maybe he/she means DBGT, which was anime-only and had no real involvement from Toriyama. ^^;

Um...they wouldn't bother with fillers then, if they knew they were gonna take a break. Obviously, they are stalling here...
Calm down there, lol. Hey, they can animate Naruto Primer if they run out of fillers!!!

Now THAT I would have to go figure out how to use Bittorent for. Plus LinkandLuigi could get nice and rich off of it and finally get something for all their wonderful writing :P.

In Rurouni Kenshin's case, they decided not to animate the Jinchuu arc because the rating went down drastically due to the fillers episode (at least so I've heard).
I sincerely hope that Naruto won't meet the same fate...

Well, in the case of FMA, didn't after episode eighty they ignored the manga and went down their own path? I don't watch the series but I heard that after awhile they branched off and did their own thing.

I was thinking that they might do that now if they keep bumping into the Naruto plot. They have to keep creating fillers to waste time but who knows how long they can keep it up.
