Theory!

Yeah, in light of recent chapters, I've made a new theory that i think would be, well, wicked awesome.


Let's see. Kakashi = mangekyou? Mangekyou = killing best friend? Mangekyou Kakashi = Killing Rin? Woo! That would rock my world. I have no idea why that would happen, but um... well... Obito is certainly ruled out.

Wait, didn't Yondaime die while sealing the Kyuubi?

Or maybe... *crack theory* Kakashi was the witness to the sealing. And then Yondaime didn't want to live with the burden of telling Naruto that it was his fault he was so cursed or something, and got Kakashi to kill him because Rin chickened out. Or was dead. I mean Obito sure as hell hadn't been around. >_>;

Why do people think you have to killed your best friend to develop this discipline? I just want to get the wide opinion on this matter.

Did you read the manga? Apparently the only way to develop the Mangekyou was to kill your best friend. Weasel-san said so himself. (Itachi. >_>; ) Or maybe he was just trying to screw around with poor 7-year old Sasuke's mind.

lol, no you didn't as such. But she probably is. I mean, kakashi said everyone he'd loved was already gone when he was talking to sasuke before he left...but then, he might not have actually liked her! :DDD

Yeah like "Kakashi has Mangekyou! Yaaaay!" translates into "Kakashi went to the movies yesterday! Yaaay!"

Obito died to save Kakashi, right? Isn't it possible that it caused so much guilt that Kakashi felt like he'd killed his best friend, and it had the same effect?
