I'm not sure how accurate it is, but here's some interesting news about Chouji's english voice actor from Wikipedia.

Robbie Rist (born 1964) is an actor. As a child he played Cousin Oliver in the final season of The Brady Bunch. In 1980, Rist played "Dr. Zee" on Galactica 1980. Rist grew up to be the voice actor for one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Michelangelo), and the lead singer for a rock band (Wonderboy) from Los Angeles. He also did the voice of Whiz on the Saturday morning cartoon Kidd Video from 1984 to 1987. Rist's latest role is the voice of Akimichi Choji in the American release of the anime title Naruto.


Edit: For the record, did some more digging, and he the voice actor for the MOVIE Michelangelo.

The stuff about the Brady Bunch is true, as well as Battlestar Galactica (THE REAL ONE). That guy's effing hilarious in interviews.
