In the spirit of all the RP talk that's been floating around here lately, I introduce to you:



konoha_cafe, the interdimensional Naruto coffeehouse. It is a breach in the time-space continuum. A rupture of the fabric of the universe that we've all grown so near and dear to. A wormhole, a glitch, an expanse of black space that never should have existed, but somehow, someway it's there. In the middle of this expanse of nothingness stands a lone building. It is a coffeehouse, perhaps, and it's called Konoha Café, and it is to become the interdimensional stomping ground for all Naruto characters from every roleplaying universe in existence.

Basically, the café is a giant crossover/multiverse Naruto roleplaying community/forum that uses pre-existing characters and their journals. Therefore, for example, absolut_tenten from hs_no_jutsu can have a cup of coffee with _tenten from narutorp. Threads can be locked to all Nejis, or all Shizunes, or scarily, all Orochimarus. Many Sakuras can bond over the stupidity of their respective Sasukes. Narutos can destroy a ramen shop together.

For more information, check out the user info here. If you're interested, I urge you to apply with any or all characters you may already be playing [though check the info for limits and restrictions]. And also, spread the word to whoever you think might be interested, mmkay?

Unfortunately, my beloved Deidara and Neji journals are each from a roleplay that isn't, and never was, especially active. *angst*

However, at crossuniversity, I'm currently roleplaying Lee. :D If I had more faith in my Lee rping skillz, I would totally enter as him!! Though I probably will anyway, since this is such a neat idea... o_x

Stupid question for you -- only LJ RPs? If I was going to apply it would probably with a character from a GJ game. With the OpenID thing I don't think I'd need a separate account...

Question: Would the characters understand and realize that they are, indeed, seeing maybe 5 clones of themselves? Would Naruto settle well with conversing with other Narutos, or would we have to make up a "WTF" first entry for the first "day" at the cafe? Oh wait, but that is just what he does with this shadow clones XD

This could get confusing, so maybe the members should be limited to one avatar that represents their particular personality/RP well, or just has a little text on the bottom.

It's less like one of those "fall through a wormhole and end up someone weird" and more an "interdimensional hangout" so I suppose I'll leave it up to the discretion of the player. If they want to post, "Hey, omgwtf there are FIVE of me here~!" that's totally fine. Personally, I think I'm going to play my characters as if they knew about the coffee house and went there purposely. That's probably easier.

This could get confusing. That's why we have a handy character/game (http://www.livejournal.com/users/konohas_waiter/1033.html) list for reference. I think it'll be like any game -- once introductions are done and people start interacting with one another, it'll be easier to remember who's who.
