No idea if this is allowed or has been posted here before, but this is some guy on "Operacion Triunfo" (Spanish version of American Idol) singing Haruka Kanata... very badly. I just found it funny/sad, and thought I'd share.

I wouldn't have a clue how it works in Spain, but here in Sweden (yep, we have our own "Idol", too.) the person just gets a record deal, and that's it. O:

Yeah, I know that in most versions of "Idol" the winner gets a record deal and everything. That's how it goes in the Israeli version. However, OT sent their winners to the Eurovision three times so far. IIRC, that's why it's named 'Operation Triunfo' - the objection of the show is to finally bring Spain a victory in the ESC.

Hmm. I just checked here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operaci%C3%B3n_Triunfo), and it says that the Eurovision element is now gone. Bummer, that's what made it so special compared to all the other "Idols". =/

I'm Spanish, and the fandom went WTFLOL with this dude.

If you look closely, the subtitles on top of the video are the Romaji lyrics, and the ones on the bottom are a rendition of what this poor sod is singing - and they only have a passing resemblance to each other! He's made up all he's singing XD

The guy goes on to say that he likes singing Japanese songs for the lyrics, because he loves the feeling put into them; and that he understands "a little" Japanese XDDDDD
