OMG the coolest thing just happened at my house tonight! Still mad at myself the my husband has our digital camera because I would have taken pics of this. Anyways

A teen came up to my door dressed as Naruto. An excellent one at that. So like any older kid that comes up to my door (after I squee'd OMG NARUTO!) I ask for a trick when they say "trick or treat". Well Naruto says "Actually I was going to show you an awesome trick. And he peforms a seal and yells "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" and all of the sudden 5 more really well done Narutos pop up from the side of my house!

But wait it wasn't finished! One of the Kage Bushins did Sexy no Jutsu and well poof a girl Naruto appeared! (she turn around and unzipped her jacket to show that she was indeed a girl)

So yeah, I asked a few questions about their getups, something the started planning in June and they were quite thrilled I, an adult, love the show and their display. They ended up getting a crapload of candy from me just because they were just to flippin awesome.

Oh and the dad escorting them was Jiraiya!

I love Halloween!

I live on a military base in Alberta Canada. Their outfits were also apart of a school project all the boys and one girl took a sewing class in high school.

I couldn't tell them enough how much it made my night!

Well so far I had the 6 Narutos, Jiraiya, Sakura and Ino, and their dad was Kakashi and their mom was Tsunade!

I think the reason it so big this year is because our base library has Manga and of course it being on tv. But every kid I have seen so far has only seen the subbed version.

I think the kids were just pleased as hell to have someone know who they were. (and because of this I have been offered a position on the Youth commitee....meetings with teens about base stuff)

I always thought the chicks who cosplay female Naruto were hot. Because, honestly, female Naruto IS hot. I have also seen the female Sasuke and Kakashi (From the video games) and they look hot too.

We didn't get any trick or treaters, but that may have been because Big Dog was inside doing her "I will break down this door and DEVOUR YOUR SOUL!" act.

I did see a guy dressed like Gaara at school today. I believe my exact words were "OMG! YOU ARE SO COOL!"

He grinned and was like "That's not normally the response I get when I dress like this."

That's because normal people don't recognize the total awesomeness that is Gaara.
