WTF moment for me: Dubbed Haku sounds just like my mom!

Seriously it freaked me out for a moment because I was doing something else and was half listening and then I heard "I'm in a really foul mood" from Haku and I went O_O "Mom?"

Anywho I did find a torrent of the dub and I sent it to my mom who is now equally freaked out that there is some voice actor out there that sounds just like her.

Thought I share my wtf-ness with you all.

omg, thats great. i think dub haku sounds like a-40-yr-old-man trying to sound like Lust (from fullmetal), but thats just me, and NO OFFENSE twards your mom! ^.^ heh heh... i love it when random voice actors sound like people you know.. O.O

The quote I mentioned is one of my mom's favorite lines when we kids got in trouble, so when I heard it, I was thinking "OMG what the hell did I do!"

And then I noticed it was Haku.

i know! i gave my mom the first volume of Rurouni Kenshin to hold for me, and she read it, and (the next day) demanded the rest of the series! i was like, wow, wtf?! ^.^

Well I guess a long time ago when buffalo roamed the plains in great many numbers and the West was still wild, my mom had japanese friend who would show here anime and loan her mangas and stuff. That is how she got hooked but then stopped. Just recently she started getting back into it.

hmf, LUCKY. i heard original haku's voice in a clip i downloaded, and i was like, OMGPERFECTILOVEIT! wow, thats was really really fangirl-esque... ^.^
