As I hadn't seen this, thought I'd share while we're waiting for the 284 raw;




If that's a colour image of Sai, he needs to catch a little sun. ^^ (There is a touch of colour on him; if you look riiiight down the bottom, right by the Hitman Reborn image, you'll see the little stripe through the waistband of his pants is red...:)


I have some more stuff to scan for you all from WJ50, about the Naruto Cardass game, but I have to go to my class now. ^^ Hoping for the raw when i get home! :D

blue-green I think...Sai looks almost as white as I should be...but I got burnt this summer so...I don't look like him anymore! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I think Sai's lack of color is for the same reason he can't show emotion- either he wasn't brought up in a normal environment, or he's not human :dun dun dunnnn:

Am I the only one that seems to be picking up on sannin vibes then? y'know, young orochimaru was sickly pale too if we remember. Seeing as we now have Sakura as the new Tsunade, Naruto as...new Jiraiya...Sai..?

Maybe it's just me but I really think Kishimoto's colorings is far inferior compared to his drawings. It's almost unfair. TT__TT Yes, it might just simply be that it's his style or that he likes simplistic cel coloring or that he's too busy, but I really think his art would be 1000x more fantastic for me if he utilized more values at the least, if not more techniques. [/artist ranting]

But ahh, Sai is as gay ghostly white as I imagined. <33

That couldn't be Sai's color picture. If you look, there's no color to the shading or anything... even Orochimaru has color shading.

Being pale is one thing... but he couldn't be completely monotone o.o';;;
