Quick Question

Do we know the ages of the Sand Siblings (before the time jump)? I was thinking about this and if Gaara is supposed to be around Naruto's age, and the other two are older, would Temari (who is the eldest, correct?) be near Itachi's age?

Sorry for this randomness of a question, I was just curious.

Right before the Timejump

Gaara is 13
Temari is 16
Kankurou is 15

And Naruto is 12, correct? If Sasuke was 8 when his parents died, and Itachi was 12 or 13 (though he certainly didn't look it, but I could be off a bit w. the age on him) it would mean he was 16ish before the time jump. So he would be around Temari's age...I don't know why that is important.

Nah those are the ages RIGHT BEFORE the timejump... so that means Naruto is 13 already right before the timejump... When the series started Naruto was 12... and Gaara too...

And yeah... Sasuke was 8 when Itachi killed their parents and the clan... Itachi was 13~

Hmm. Keep in mind that RIGHT before the time jump, Naruto is also 13. Itachi was around 17 to 19, I depending on months and stuff. Probably 19 RIGHT before. This is important, because from the beginning of the manga to the Kakashi Gaiden, at least one year has passed. Temari was 14 when whe first saw her, then 15. 3 years later she's probably about 18, but Itachi's closer to 21 or 22. A bit of a difference there.

I think I've confused myself now...

but my original questions were answered and I know that Itachi is older than Temari. I always associated Temari as being the eldest of that generation (well that we are given privvy to, that is) but its really Itachi that is the eldest, but just not associated with him since he is our local non-annoying defector...

When they're first introduced, Gaara is 12 [Naruto's age], Kankurou is 14 and Temari is 15. Itachi is listed as being 17 at Narutofan.com so I assume that's at his first appearance, I guess he's 17 when he comes and fights KakaGaiKureAsu? In any case, he's older than Temari.

(After the time skip. That's sort of creepy, because I always associated my brother with Itachi before. And now they're the same age.)
