Okay. This was something my sister brought up to me randomly, explaining it to me and making me think for a minute.

What if...Tobi...is OBITO?!

Sure Obito's been dead for a couple of years but what if he didn't really die? What if a genie came and brought him back to life? Or the rocks only crushed a bunshin? I mean, HOW Obito got away is not so important as how he is SO Tobi.

Here are the reasons we discussed:

1) Their names are eerily similar.
2) Their hair styles...well. Those are similar too.
3) Tobi's swirly mask has ONE eye hole. On the side where Obito would still have an eye!!
4) They have a very similar way of talking.
5) Wouldn't it just be hilarious?

If someone else has already said this then just pretend they didn't and I'm the first. That way, when Tobi turns out to be Unico's lover Obito, you could say you heard it here first. Even though, at this point, I realize that it's probably been said many times. Oh well! I'VE never been involved in a conversation about this so if me bringing it up means that it's repetative for some of you, just don't join in!

Edit: I also credit ino_ for this idea. Even though I missed her saying it. I'll believe her. THIS time.

That said, the idea of Tobi being Obito has been brought up quite a bit, yes. :)

Or Shisui is Tobi, since we never saw him died (or saw him, period), that could only mean it's him! As a matter of fact, all the Uchiha and their grandmother are alive and well and are just pulling a prank on Sasuke along with Itachi...

(on a serious note: I think Zetsu found the half dead Obito and revived him in the forest. But since half of his brain was crushed, he has lost all his memories and is acting retarded and has since become the number Akatsuki fanboy. )

Wouldn't that be hilarious if Shisui isn't really dead and Itachi's Mangekyou was only a joke this whole time? Shisui will just pull his Tobi mask off and be like: PSYCH!!!

Lmao, I swear, this is so freakin' funny. Every new character that comes out that has vaguely fluffy black hair is automatically labelled as Obito. XD;
And the rocks crushed only a bunshin? LOL!!! Yah, a pretty invincible bunshin. XD

It's all quite simple. Uchiha Mikoto, the most powerful Uchiha in existance, went to a slightly different reality, killed that reality's Uchiha Clan, raped Itachi, and left him there insane. He convinced himself he did the deed of killing by the time Sasuke arrived. Mikoto then went to HER world's past, and took Tobi and used her uber skills to bring him back to full health, minus the eye, and put him in the alter-verse.

Then she went back to the pasr of HER time and brought the Yondaime to this alter world, and then made him an Uchiha since incest turns her on. Then they made a baby, and thanks to the baby's uber parentage, it grew up quickly and took over the Akatsuki his mother started at some point, while Mikoto and Akatsuki!Yondaime do whatever they want, partying, ya know.

Then Hyuuga Hanabi from the future came and told Naruto that the world was in his hands, and gave him a special seal that would stop the Kyuubi from eventually kiling him to he could fight the Akatsuki.
