Chapter 284: Ino's new look, kinda familar?
I mean, look, I already thought they have similar hair, blond(e), with the bang over eye and ponytail, except Dei-chan have a little hair down on his shoulders too, where as Ino has her hair all in a ponytail, here, the shot from the front, the sexy clothes, wow.

Can you just see the two of them bonding over hair care?

I mean, dude, during the Gaara Extraction Arc, I was like hunting the forums for the earliest available versions of the latest chapter. Naturally, after it ended, I kinda left. Now I'm bored, wonder if there would be any mentions of Akatsuki, I mean Sasori die, shouldn't we see the rest's reaction to that? Imagine my doubletake on that page.

ETA: Crazy crack thought, I think, it's almost for certain, that Deidara is a man, un (you win, thomasvye), though that sure as hell won't stop me from appreciating Girl!Deidara in the fandom. Is this visual Kishimoto's appeasement balm for all those guys (and maybe girls) over at NarutoFan forum who are no doubt going "OMG that hot chick is a dude", I mean, dude, when I was less open minded, I was totally in trauma after discovering that hot male voice I found sexy in that "Last Christmas" song, turns out to be Cher. Now I don't care, but dude!

ETA2: Akatsuki is mentioned in this chapter, so we might see a new member soon, soon could be chapters, and chapters later, but I doubt there will be contrived NaruHina filler crap. Damn, who do I have to kill for them to stop playing that and put on the Akatsuki crack? Is it so much to ask that instead of Tweedee Dumb and Tweedee Dumber, 2D villains and Contrived Cheap Humour, we get an episode of Akatsuki slumber party and/or board meeting?

What the hell were the Akatsuki doing during that whole time period of almost 3 years? Those people have to have a life, clubbing? Affairs? Tension? I would like to see Kisame and Itachi, just silently interacting, over the current bore (except for Curry of Life, maybe).

I wouldn't mind seeing some awkward Sand Sibs bonding too, or A Day in the Life of Sound Five flashbacks. So many cool villains, not given enough screen time! Oh, Kisame and Zabuza, back in the days!

I still stand on the belief that Deidei and Ino are cousins. I know Yamanaka translates to something involving a mountain, so who's to say the clan didn't just move out of Iwagakure, save that crazy relative with mouth-hands and a robo-eye?

I always thought that Deidara and Ino, cousins OMG too, except I always dismiss it as yet another crazy senseless theory, such as Kabuto being Kakashi's long lost evil little brother because they both have grey hair, or Jiraya being Kakashi's father, which we now know to be impossible. Hell, impossible for the Kabuto theory too, considering how young Kakashi was when his father died.

Really, Deidara and Ino, so interesting if they ever meet. The eyes are very different though.

They should be brothers! It'd make their fight scenes far more dramatic.

He got the eyes from yet ANOTHER side of the family. The Yamanaka family is very extended. In my own little world, anyway.

Doesn't mean he couldn't be Kakashi's uncle. ;)

Jiraiya and Sakumo even have the same hair (at least from the back), which in this series, with characters like Nara Shikaku and Shikamaru running around, might actually mean something. I know it's crack, but it's funny that there really isn't anything to say Jiraiya couldn't be Sakumo's brother.

Haha, yeah, I thought that too! I actually made a little mini-comic about Deidara doing Ino's hair right after I saw Ino's new outfit. XD Unfortunately, my scanner is crap, so I have to fix it up before posting it. I was putting it off, but maybe I'll get around to it soon.. :D
