Ficlet Thing

Soooo yeah. I wrote a ficlet just now 'cause I was bored. I think I might turn it into a script, it's an easy enough radioplay. Just need to find a Kakashi, that's all. :B

Title: I can feel heaven
Rating: PG
Series: Naruto
Characters: Team Kakashi, focuses on Rin.
Notes: I'm not trying to ship anyone here, so yeah. Btw, if you haven't read Kakashi Gaiden, don't read this.. 'cause you probably won't understand this. This fic focuses on Rin's death.


"Rin!"

I can hear him.. but he seems so far away.

"RIN! God damnit!"

Farther and farther away.

"RIN!"

He's looking for me. He's trying to protect me. He promised.. he promised on that day; the day all childhood innocence was stolen from our lives. The day that our precious comrade died.

Obito.

His smiling face told us to go on and be strong. That's what's kept me going all this time, but.. the pain from that day has always been here in my heart. Why does it hurt so much now?

Why am I in so much pain..?

"Open your eyes!"

Where are you, Kakashi?

"RIN!"

Fire. It's so hot.. I can hear it crackling around me. I can hear screams; agony, pain, fear, regret, loss. I can hear hell. I've never really wondered what it sounded like.. but this has to be it. All of this searing pain has to be what hell feels like.

I know I'm crying, but I can't feel my tears. I can't even feel pain anymore.

But I can feel heaven.

Obito.. will you be waiting for me?

"No! Rin!"

I'm sorry, Kakashi.

"RIN!"
