I'm a little confused...

I'm ashamed to admit that I am a little lost and confused. XD A lot of people are better versed in all this, so if someone could help me to understand this a little better, I'd be very appreciative. What is going on with the spy? What's his relation to Sasori? People are bringing up references left and right that I don't remember, so any info you can help me out with here is greatly appreciated. Thanks. ._.

Sasori told GrannyChiyo and Sakura he was meeting a spy of his, placed in Sound to keep an eye on Orochi for him, at the Bridge of Heaven and Earth in Grass Country in 5 days.

(I have always considered the fact that he gave this information up, without needing to, to be dubious, but it's been believed totally, it seems)

Tsunade has sent Team 7 to intercept the spy, but Team 7 was down to two people, Kakashi having invalided himself out of the action using mangekyuu. So her political opponant Danzou placed a person of his own - Sai - on the team with the support of the council, increasingly dubious about allowing the jinchuuriki to weander around whereever he wants. The new 4 man cell was completed by Yamato, an Anbu of Tsunade's choosing to replace Kakshi as captain.

Basically, the two old members of the team hate Sai and won't work with him. And Yamato (whose own abilites are super unusual) is beginning to aquire Kakashi's look of exhaustion. lol.

So, now they seem to be on the brink of meeting the spy. And that's the story so far...
