:) Went to the Japane Centre today and got Naruto 31. ^^ So, without further ado, I give you scans of the wonderful sexy painted Akatsuki cover and a scan of a game ad booklet that came inside it. ^^ But, the cover!!!






Colour it for yourself. Change Sasori danna's smexy red hair colour! See Deidara's coat and legs more clearly!

...but as much as I was yay for Akatsuki being on the cover, I actually don't like it, because aside from the condiment duo colouring, the posing sucks. For one thing, while Naruto is the main character, since they are introducing new members, one of which will soon die and get no more screentime, is it too much to ask that they get more cover space?

Hee. It's so obvious that Kishi colored the cover with these super-expensive manga markers. =D

I still love how red Sasori's hair is. I knew they didn't call him Aka Suna no Sasori for nothing.

So Sasori's eyes are some golden-brown color? Neat. I can't figure out what's Deidara's eye color... it's either green or blue. If it's blue, then... damn, I'm a female, handmouth-less Deidara. o_O;

Yay! That sounds fabulous. Yondaime doesn't get nearly enough love, considering the hotness that he is.

In the second booklet scan, that's a VERY long-haired Sasuke in the top left corner... is this post time jump Sasuke, or just an effect of perspective? O____O

I think it's perspective, as timejump Sasuke hasn't been seen yet (plus hair seems to grow and go mad when the curse seal activates. ^^) I have a bigger image of that picture (from a poster in the same WJ) that I am scanning now-ish, which shows the whole of that image (whole body Sasuke and Naruto form the centre of the poster). But I couldn't do it last night because of the West Wing! lol! :D Ah, the agony of sharing the computer! ;)
