Help with a fanfic...

I few months back, I got this insane idea to puts Naruto characters into the storyline of Final Fantasy X, with some tweaking at certain parts of the script and little additions that wouldn't mess with the outcome of the original storyline. If anyone here has played FFX and think they could help me, that would be awesome.

So far, the characters that I have in almost definite spots are:

Naruto as Tidus (they look alike... and are the main character. and are a bit stupid. ^-^;;)

Sakura as Yuna (I wanted NaruSaku otherwise Hinata would be her but I don't really like NaruHina at all. and gets kickass in the sequel, like Sakura does after the timeskip.)

Kakashi as Auron (the scarred eye! 'cept it's on opposite sides but whatever...)

Tsunade as Lulu (the big boobs. >>; and the yelling at the idiots thing. And the soft spot for Naruto/Tidus.)

Jiraiya as Wakka (this one's a bit iffy but, I can make Wakka a perv... >>; Yay for TsunadeJiraiya pairing)

Ino as Rikku (I drew Ino as Rikku. She fits real well and her and Sakura would be cousins this way... and friends)

Sasuke as Kimahri (Kimahri's speech pattern HAS to change because Sasuke will not be going 'Sasuke no like you' >>;)

Itachi or Orochimaru as Seymour (Still debating because Seymour kills Kimhari's clan but I want Orochimaru to be the main bad guy... Argh!)

Kisame or Kabuto as Tromell (Depending on who's Seymour...)

Little Gaara as Bahamut Fayth (Because no one else fits and chibi-Gaara is cute and would fit in the clothes. >>;)

Yondaime as Braska (Braska=Hero and so does Yondaime but my friend said that Yondaime should be Jecht because of his connection to Naruto but Yondaime isn't a stupid prick! >>;)

Hinata as Shelinda (because they're both rather quiet...)

Dan as Chappu (yeah, so Jiraiya and Dan would be brothers but Chappu was engaged to Lulu... and Chappu died... past TsunadeDan!)

Kyuubi as Sin! (I'm thinking of making a human Kyuubi and make him Jecht and make Shukaku as Sin...)

Inari, Konohamaru, Udon as 3 boys in Zanarkand (Yeah, really small part but the all idolize Naruto/Tidus)

Lee as Brother (my god this is scary but he'd be Ino's brother! *shudder* but then he'd also be in love with Sakura/Yuna. *pictures Lee with all those tattoos and shudders again*)

Itachi and Kisame as Biran and Yenke (Well, Sasuke would get to punch out Kisame but Itachi would kick his ass... But this would make Itachi die and I don't like that idea... ;-;!)

Sarutobi as Jyscal (but that's if Orochimaru is Seymour because Seymour kills Jyscal)


These are some of the problems I've come across in writing this fic:

1. Certain characters from Naruto just will not fit. The one rather main character, Jecht, just doesn't have anyone for it. No one in Naruto is that much of a cocky prick. >>;

2. People might question Sasuke as Kimahri but Kimahri's whole clan is essentially killed and I couldn't let that parallel go untested.

3. If this fic were to go well, I want to write the sequel game too... I'm probably getting very much ahead of myself...

Thanks for the offer but I think I might need someone with a little more experience in the game. Plus, I tend to be a spoiler whore so I may spoil the whole game for ya. I wouldn't wanna do that. ^-^;; Thanks, though. Good luck with the game, if your still playing it. Definitely worth to play the whole way through.

I'm pretty sure Seymour offed them off screen on Mt Gagazet... Yeah, I dunno what happened there but Seymour SAID he offed them all... A screw up on the game's part? Or maybe there's something I missed...

Most of the clan was eliminated. Biran and Yenke are both dead. When you talk to one of the Ronso in X-2, he mentions that Biran and Yenke are both happy on the Farplane.

Seymour claims that Kimahri was the only Ronso left, but I suspect he was the only Ronso left of those who still guarded Mt. Gagazet. Or Seymour could've been lying about completely wiping them out in a move to get Kimahri to give up. He was Yuna's fiercest, most protective guardian. Either way, you're right about Biran and Yenke. :)

Even though it would open up NaruHina, Hinata is a lot more like FFX Yuna than Sakura.

I know, I know! But This whole fic wouldn't get written with Hinata as Yuna. Not that I hate her or anything it's just I like having Sakura as the heroine... By the sequel though, Sakura WOULD be in character as Yuna. I could never see Hinata ending up how Yuna does in FFX-2... ><;;

I couldn't see Yuna as Yuna in X-2. lol. Her personality 180 was suprising, to say the least. It was like all of Spira took uppers for two years and how everyone was acting in X-2 was the result. In Rikku's case, somebody took away her Ritalin. (I really dislike X-2 Rikku, she annoys me no end.)

I love Rikku. Although her FFX-2 outfit was a bit too slutty... Aw too bad of the not liking Rikku... I act a lot like her sometimes so I bet I'd annoy you lots... ^-^;;

It saddens me to no end, because I am the biggest fangirl for FFX Rikku. I absolutely have no bounds of love for the character in her X version. It wasn't even the costume change (because she really wasn't the poster child for conservative clothing in X, either), it was the fact she'd lost IQ points. She must've gone for a trip the Valley at some point in those two years as well.

Ah, you wouldn't annoy me. One of my best friends acts a whole lot like her, and we get along great. But she says that I remind her of Paine, so ... :)

Kisame or Kabuto as Tromell (Depending on who's Seymour...)

Even if it depended on who was Seymour ... can you see Kabuto or Kisame being buddy-buddy with Sakura after Seymour's death? (In the X-2 portion, I mean).

I really like the idea of Ino as Rikku, though. I was kinda, "Huh?" when I first read it - then it made sense to me.

I know! That was REALLY bothering me... But there's nothing to do aboutt hat right now and Tromell is a rather minor character... If he causes me too many problems, he doesn't really have to exist... >>; I have ways to fix things... That sounds so mean to Tromell though... Whatever. ><;;

Tromell, while I like the character well enough, was one of those "not-evil-just-following-the-wrong-person" types. It's hard to find an equivalent for that in Naruto. Everyone's following an agenda or wholly knows what the agenda of the person they are following is.

Exactly! And it makes it hard to put someone like Kabuto who's STILL doing the switch around every five seconds! Like in chapter 289/290! Such a hard charcter! Darn him... He's messing with my head... @_@

The only think I could think of is someone "seeing the light" after the death of the leader. Kabuto would probably be the more likely candidate for that role, seeing as how Kisame appears to be more independent inandof himself.

I'll help you, if you like. X is my favorite FF game, and I like X-2 quite a bit. I've played them both all of the way through more times than I care to recount.
