It seems to me that Orochimaru is using Jutsus again, so does that mean he's cured?

If I recall, the part of his soul that was his arms were eaten up by the shinigami in the 3rd's Jutsu. I thought it would make it much more difficult to cure.

Well... seems like another plot hole. But he was cured once he changed bodies for sure XD".

If Tsunade would've been able to heal him I guess it was easier to heal him than we thought...

I could've sworn that was why he changed bodies in the first place. He wanted to change into Sasuke's body, but since he didn't have Sasuke and he wanted use of his arms back, he opted to switch into Genyuumaru instead and wait another three years.

Kabuto mentions something about finding a cure for it with medical jutsu, the body change wouldn't have been the cure he was talking about... he was ranting about it in 290

He dosnt remove or distory the soul of the person he moves into so i am guessing he is starting from scratch or at lest to what the person knows now that he has lost his arms soul

Yup, he was cured by swapping bodies; he held out for so long because he was hoping Sasuke would reach him in time so he could have sharingan; he was pretty stubborn about waiting, but not so stubborn he'd let himself die over it when he was going to have another chance. :)

So why is it that he didn't try to attack Konoha again? Why was he so quiet for 3 years?

I don't think he's got any reason to attack Konoha any more. Sandaime is dead, so his grudge is settled and he has Sasuke.

plus, even if he wanted to attack Konoha, his best fighters (sans Kabuto and Sasuke) are dead. Unless, of course, he found others.

I am sure he's got plenty of people. ^^ But we have to wait to see what he's up to at the moment, what his latest scheme is. ^^

...but to attack Konoha in the first place, I wouldn't have done it. Probably.

Well....I don't expect he's *over* it as such, but it's rather at the point now where he can't do anything else with it. It's concluded. Sandaime is dead, Sasuke is with him, so...and he's still alive, so though he suffered for the victory, he won. :D Orochimaru does not shop; he had minions to do that. :P

But it is Oro. I wouldn't put any scheme past him and more and more layers are revealed all the time. I guess he might be up for another go and squishing Konoha. :D

because he want's sasuke's body before doing so. he switched bodies once before sasuke arrived, and he said it takes three years before you can use the jutsu again... he just wants the sharigan before he does anything.

Technically, since Tsunade could have cured him, it doesn't seem so difficult to cure. Sandaime was trying to take his soul's arms, but techinically, since Orochimaru is always switching bodies and some part of the conscious stays in the bodies, it was probably that body's conscious/soul that was damaged, hence Orochimaru being able to use jutsus again when changing bodies. Just a thought. :3

Yes. It cured him. By switching bodies, his soul entwined with Genyuumaru(who had use of his arms). Genyuumaru's basically still alive in the soul of an overpowering Orochimaru.

He doesn't not attack Konohagakure cuz Sandaime Hokage's dead. Remember... that was never his intention. It was to mostly just prove his status as a murderer to see how powerful he was. If anything though, getting revenge on Sandaime was just a bonus for his own conscience. It's inevitable he's gonna attack Konohagakure again. The thing is... Genyuumaru doesn't help him. When 3 years is up and he's completely fused with Genyuumaru's soul without damaging it by leaving too early, he'll use Sasuke as his new soul container and he'll have the Sharingan eyes. Jutsu will be easy now, and in battle, he'd have even more of an advantage... so Konohagakure will be his target again.

Imagine the Sharingan in those sharp eyes of Orochimaru? I think I'd like it.
