HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAKU!
Jan. 9th, 2006 08:15 pmHello all!
For Haku's birthday, I made three icons and a poem!

Snow fades with the days of Spring,
Winter’s death seen as a glourious thing.
For this death is not one tear shead,
Embrace of warmth and change instead.
Flowers bloom in hopes of life,
Simple things to hide the world’s strife.
Yet when comes fall they wither, they die,
They are mourned, their beauty gone by.
Again comes winter; crisp and cold,
Hated by many; young and old.
Admired by less.
Winter seen as one big mess.
But on a clear winter morn,
Throw open thine eyes and cast off the scorn.
Take in the pure white snow,
Behold the beauty, flowers blanketed below.
Stillness lies within such a time,
Moments to reflect; no need for reason or rhyme.
The stillness is broken in the blink of an eye,
By an angry mutter, a remark or cry.
Winter’s beauty fades in a snap,
Pristen white turn to inky black.
Mountians of ice and snow,
Melting by the sun’s cruel glow.
Weep not I say to those fear,
For within one year’s time from here.
Ice and snow will once again reign,
Winter will return once again.
I know the poem doesn't really relate to Haku, but, Haku reminds me of snow. So white and pure. So, that's sort of my excuse
Lemme know if you like!
