ラーメン屋“一楽(いちらく)”の店主・テウチは、娘のアヤメを料理忍者に誘拐される。料理忍者の狙いは、テウチがもつ“幻のレシピ”だった。アヤメを取り戻すにはレシピを渡すか、料理忍者との料理勝負に勝つしかない。事情を聞いたナルトたちは、テウチとともに料理勝負に参戦する。

Ayame, daughter of ramen shop "Ichiraku" storekeeper Teuchi, is kidnapped by cooking ninjas.
(Yes. You read that right. Cooking ninjas. :lol:)
The Cooking ninjas want the 'dream recipe' (Teuchi's special ramen recipe, I presume) to be passed to them in exchange for Ayame, or a cooking match must be won aghainst them. Naruto, who hears about it, enters the cooking match with Teuchi.
(I fear this episode. :D)

海の国から“海魔”退治と御用金船警護の依頼が、木ノ葉の里に舞い込んだ。海魔は海上を荒らしている賊で、一説によれば、海魔は人間ではないともいわれていた。アンコをリーダーに、ナルト、いの、シノが海の国へ派遣されることになった。アンコはなぜか物思いにふける。
A request to guard a publicly funded ship and exterminate a 'sea devil' comes to Konoha from Sea Country. The 'sea devil', even if 'he' wasn't a human being, according to opinion was a theif who damaged the sea. With Anko as their Leader, Naruto, Ino and Shino are dispatched to Sea Country. Anko is lost in thought for some reason...

御用金船の出発があすに迫る中、ナルトが行方不明の状況に。ナルトの捜索に出たいのとシノは、昔、鬼界島(きかいじま)付近で起きた“神隠し”の話を聞く。そのころナルトは、漁火(いさりび)という人物に助けられ看病を受けていた。元気を取り戻したナルトに漁火は「海魔に近づくな」と警告する。
Whilst the departure of the publicly funded ship approaches the next day, and with Naruto missing, Ino and Shino, who want to go on a search for Naruto, hear a story of "disappearances" that happened near Kikai Island a long time ago. At the same time, Naruto is helped by Ikiribi (character) and is nursed (by him). Ikiribi warns Naruto, who has regained his spirit, not to "approach the sea devil".

アンコは昔の記憶をたどった。神隠しの舞台となった鬼界島は、大蛇丸(おろちまる)と訪れた場所だったのだ。アンコによって神隠しの真相と、漁火の体の秘密が判明。ナルトたちは鬼界島へと乗り込んでいく。
Anko searched her memories of the past (old days). Kikai Island, which was the scene of the disappearances, was a place that she and Orochimaru visited. The truth of the disappearances and the secret of the body of Ikiribi are discovered by Anko. Naruto's team embarks at Kikai Island...

3) Kikai, isn't that the bug that the Abarame Clan controls? Wouldn't Shino know something about the island?

Date: 2006-01-14 02:12 am (UTC)The name of the Island (Kikai) is literally Devil World Island; 鬼界. (Same Ki kanji 鬼 as in Kidoumaru!); I left it as Kikai as it's a name. :)
I guess it's because ino and Shino have been somewhat neglected so far. ^^
