Question

I really have to say that Rock Lee's theme is the best of all the characters'. But that wasn't what I wanted to ask.

I don't have the ability to do polls or anything like that, so I'm just going to ask right out, of all the characters, excluding the main three--Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke--who do y'all feel we should see more of or at least more background of?

I realized, while re-watching the Chuunin exam episodes this afternoon, there are many characters we know little to nothing about, such as Tenten, and I kind of felt I would like to know more about her background. Seeing that we couldn't learn the background of everyone in the show, I was just wondering who people would like to know more about if given the chance.

Itachi. I want to know why he killed his clan. Although, that's an obvious answer. I'd also love to know more about Rin from the Kakashi Gaiden. And Yondaime! I can go on and on... ^-^;;

I would like to know what happened to Rin as well and as for Yondaime, I have a feeling we'll end up learning something about him in the end, if everyone's theory on his relationship w. Naruto is correct.

I would LOVE to see a background check on Temari and Kankuro, especially while they were growing up and dealing with Gaara and all that. It would be interesting to see how they survived till now and all the crap Gaara most likely put them through to make them into who they are now.

I agree so much! I have been wanting info on all three sand siblings, not just Gaara, for the longest time. I want to know about their relationship with each other and with their father. I mean, we all know that Gaara and the Kazekage has a terrible relationship, but I wonder if Temari and Kankuro harboured any resentment for dear old dad?

Tenten I think deserves something. It does not have to be much, maybe something along the level of what we learned about Chouji and Shikamaru.

Dude, you HAVE to read the manga! The have a Kakashi Gaiden filler before the time skip! It gives you a whole thing on Kakashi and his team... And the reason he has the Sharigan eye... It's the best thing ever!! They're on the top of my icon, see? Rin Obito and Kakashi!

I'd like to learn more about Jiraiya and Orochimaru's rivalry...and just how close of friends they used to be, if they were friends at all.

I also wouldn't mind learning everything there is to know about Kisame, Deidara, and Zetsu...

I think we're supposed to assume that Jiraiya and Oro's rivalry/frienship was similar to Naru and Sasuke's but I understand where you're coming from. It would be interesting to know why Oro chose the path he did, or did we find that out? I know he wanted to know everything & live forever but did we ever find out more? Just weird ambition, maybe?

I have a feeling we'll end up learning all about all the "Aka-bad guys", it'll just take some time (and maybe only before their deaths).

Deidara and Zetsu and Kisame. They need background love. Specially Deichan. Itachi has background. Sasori danna has lots of background and more emerging all the time. O_O More for other Akatsuki I say. (I would say Sir Leader sama; but perhaps as we haven't even gotten to see his face yet, asking for his lifestory may be a little premature...^^)

I don't doubt that we'll be getting lots of Akatsuki love when it comes to background info, it's just going to take time to set up (you know those fight to death, emotional battles that brings out the troubled past that brought the person down the path of ebil and all ^^)

I agree with the folks who've mentioned Temari, Kankurou, Rin and Itachi. I'd love to know more about them. I'm also curious about Yondaime. Just make it canon that he's Naruto's father already. You know who else I'd love to know about? Every frickin' body's MOTHER. There are hardly any mothers mentioned in this series. I believe I've only seen two (Sasuke's and Shikamaru's).

I have a feeling Kishi is waiting to spring Naruto's parentage, if the theory is correct, on us. It'll be one of those big moments in the series, or so I'm crossing my fingers for.

I always forget we don't know about Kabuto, but since there is a theory that Kabuto holds the 8-tails (or whatever the snake is), I bet we don't find out about him for a long while.

I think we learned most about Naruto that we're going to, it was tramatic until Iruka came around and accepted him. The same goes for Sakura, we know about her childhood w. Ino and such and I think that's all we learn about her background.

I love Shino, he is so creepy & the fact that he has the deepest voice of anyone in the entire show at age 12 is just the funny. I would love to know more about him, and just see him more in general, he kind of gets left out a lot. I think we've seen most about Shika's past that we're going to, but of course he has that whole Temari thing keeps him intersting ~_^ As for Kakashi, I think everyone is holding their breaths to see Kakashi Gaiden make it to the animated series soon.

You know, I'm doing a sketch of the Yondaime, Jiraiya, and Naruto together and I realized something, could it be possible that all three are related to each other? Like Jiraiya beget Yondaime, Yondaime beget Naruto and that Jiraiya was the Yondaime's sensei as well as father? Of course, looks are nothing to go w. in an anime in connecting parentage, I'm know.

I'd love to know more about Shino as well, I love that guy. Also the nin-dogs. Yeah, they're not really a 'character' but I want to know, are they summons like Naruto's frogs or are they actual dogs that belong to some kind of group? Also why does Kakashi have them and not the Inuzuka clan? So many questions....

As for Kakashi and nin-dogs, I think that was inheritance from his father, like to be able to summon them has been passed down (like the frogs from Jiraiya to Naru). You kind of have to wonder if the Kakashi's family has some connection w. the Inuzuka's though, since we know Kakashi and his father have the increased senses (such as smell) that Kiba shows.

You know, it would be interesting to see more on Itachi. We see him through Sasuke's eyes but we know nothing about him when he was younger, how he got to be so strong/his training, and why he decided to do what he did (like why did he begin hating his clan so much...maybe they were really evil or something...) but then again, I have a feeling we'll learn all this.

Kiba love! You know, did we get a lot of background on Hinata, other than the fact that her father is a jerk (and even that we found out from Neji's background)? That team doesn't get a lot of love, it seems. Unless I'm just blocking stuff out, isn't the only Kiba background we got was when he got Akamaru?

Well, I have three.

Lee, Gaara, and Hinata. But that's just because I really like these characters. Although I would say that Lee's and Gaara's background information is sufficient. I just want MORE MORE MORE, because I'm fangirlish like that.

I honestly couldn't care less about Tenten. I find her dull, probably because, like you said, we don't really know anything about her.
