Anime fillers have come to an end!.... ?

I stopped watching the anime around episode 137, due to fillers. I've been a bit out of the loop and was wondering if the fillers had ended and the story had continued?
I downloaded ep166 and it seems to be involved once more but I wasn't sure and things looked different (new characters etc).
If it is back in action, please inform me of where should I start watching again!

I was dying to see Kakashi Gaiden, too. The superviser of Studio Pierrot stated when the fillers end we will jump straight into an older Naruto.
It would be cool if Kakashi Gaiden would be like a Naruto OVA or something though. Yeah, they should do that.
