Naruto and Chouji are shocked to find Ichiraku Ramen closed; so they sneak in and ramen is indeed being cooked...



So they get themselves some...



and it's good!



Then they find out that Ayame has been kidnapped by cooking ninjas...



(I thought head chef ninja must be hiding tertiary syphillis under the patch...>:)

...and to get her back, Teuchi must give up his famous recipe or win a cooking battle.

Chouji explains how important cooking is!









But he's hurt and cannot cook. So Naruto and team decide to do the cooking for him and have to learn how to make ramen.

Head chef cooking ninja is not impressed...



...but he does have a nose!



Naruto goofs around with dough...





Rasengan cookery. Yeah, that's gonna frighten Sasuke...:P

But it's very good ramen of course!







But oh dear; whilst with the cooking ninja the diaster of their cooking has been discovered by Ayame; it makes you a bit on the plump side...(she seems happy enough!)

They added the sensei and a scroilling tree leaping sequence that is very nice but hard to cap being a little dark and really in motion.

I just don't like the modern culture of "if you can't say anything nice, STFU." It's...I hate it. X_X a negative comment is worth as much as a positive one. I do appreciate the caps, and yes I found the chibis cute, but the episode as a whole is crap. It's like those brown LV bags. they are UGLY but people buy them as a status symbol and don't dare to think that they are ugly. X_X
