Morning, chuunin! I come asking for a favour, in May I will be going to the London Expo with my sister and some friends. Two of my friends and I are cosplaying Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura, and I'm making the costumes.

So, any advice, warnings on the tricky parts I need to watch out for, design outlines and photos would be very much appreciated. ^^;; As well as some full body shots of team 7, since my computer sucks and won't let me take screenshots without taking an hour on every individual shot >.< I'm also interested to hear if anyone else is going to the London Expo!

Yup yup, the last weekend in May ^^ (27th and 28th) I'll have to ask my sister for the address when she gets home from work, want me to get back to you?

The buliding i called ExCeL, on the Royal Victoria Dock in the Docklands. It's based mostly on anime, but there are also games, films, wrestling stuff etc. (my sister said there was a darlek there last year! :P) You can cosplay, but apparently loads of people want your picture if you do XD Ticket price this year is £7, but if you buy a fast track ticket to get in an hour earlier it's £10. Times are tbc.

The website of the Expo is over here (http://www.londonexpo.com/index.shtml). It's got loads of information on the facilities and activties.

So, does that mean you're going? It'd be nice to see another lj-er there! Do you live in London?

Only a tenner? That's pretty good. Not sure about cosplaying, I'd probably end up as Kakashi or Yondaime guess my hair's about the same. Do you plan to?

I'd really like to, everyone keeps saying they're really great. It'd be cool to meet up with other lj-ers. Unfortunately I live in Yorkshire, so it'd be a bit of a trek, but I have a car so it's not too bad ^__^ Maybe I'll see you there?

*points up to original post* I'm making three costumes, so I'll have my work cut out for me! I've never cosplayed before (actually, I've never even been to a convention, I didn't even know there were any in Britain until my sister went) I'm really looking foorward to it! :D

Oooh, I've been to Yorkshire! It's really lovely, even though it rained a lot whilst we were there. I'm a little luckier with my placement, it only takes about 20minutes to get to London by train!
