In 173 of Naruto, when Orochimaru was walking away from Anko, did you happen to notice how terrible the animators made him look? He was OBESE. Fat Orochimaru... it was classic.

Looks like it's official... no Kakashi Gaiden. They won't be able to fit it in the fillers at this point.

Naruto just started to air a new arc... and there's only 6-7 episodes left of fillers. This new arc will finish it up... and it was already stated by a studio pierrot producer that they are taking the jump straight into an 'older naruto'... so basically, these fillers were our only hope for seeing animated kakashi gaiden. this kinda sucks the big one.

Kakashi Gaiden will probably only have like 2 or 3 episodes.

There were episode summaries for the upcoming episodes posted @ Narutoforums.com - but since the forum is down right now I can't check ^^"" But as far as I know the next one was a one-shot so don't worry ^_~.

And even if it won't be animated as part of this filler arc it WILL get animated as a special... since they also included the short special with Kakashi's mask XD"

Okay then, so maybe things are looking up somewhat. I just gotta hope now for it to be included... and as far as rumor is concerned, I've heard it'll be made into a theatrical release as movie 3 or an OVA collection. either way... i am insanely dying inside for this part of the series that I twitch to the thought of a child kakashi and having yondaime in an actual PLOT... even if its only a total of like... 5 lines lol.

Since I am an Obito and Yondaime fan (and somehow Kakashi fan... yeah yeah... in denial) I am just as desperate as you are ^_~ But I don't worry much about it. I really think it will get animated very soon...

But please not as movie 3 ;_; Or else we'd have to wait another year for the release since we only get DVD RAWS ;_;

:DDD Orochimaru sama looked stunning in that scene (he just has to wear the Konoha standard baggy juunin pants so that people are not completely distracted all the time by his superior handsome ass. ^__^)

Only 174 and 175 have been announced plot wise and both could well be one shots; 174 certainly is.

I'm not terribly bothered either way, but they could still fit the Gaiden in before April.
