Well, episode 175 aired this week.

Fillers... ending... sometime soon?

How do you feel? What scenes are you most anticipating?

As for me, I can't wait, I'm really anticipating seeing the canon all nicely animated.
Funny enough, one thing I really want to see is the bell test that Kakashi gives to Naruto and Sakura. I know its nothing spectacular, but I thought that part was just soooo hilarious. ^_^

Ah, of course, the introduction of Kazekage Gaara ^^

...last, but definitely not least, I can't wait to see Deidara and Sasori! Hurrah for more Akatsuki!

I suppose Sakura's fight with Sasori won't be as annoying to me, because instead of being 5902361 chapters, it'll be just a few episodes. Fights are SO much better in motion x.X

EDIT: Soo... they aren't ending with 179. >.> FINE. BE THAT WAY STUDIO PIERROT. Anyway, still, joybliss over what you want to see. Because it'll happen... EVENTUALLY.

They may or may not be, no one knows for sure. I've heard some people say that Kakashi Gaiden may be the next OVA... which makes perfect sense for it, I think.

Hellz to the yeah. 8D I'm looking forward to a bunch of stuff. I want to see KG, but I'm not sure how they're planning to handle it...but for the post time skip itself...God, there's just so much XD.

I want to see Team Gai, Sakura's battle with Sasori (she just kicks so much ass), and Kisame vs. Team Gai fight water prison scene >D. There are a bunch of others, but those are the three main parts I'm looking forward to.

I look forward to seeing all the genins in their new timejump!outfits. I'm all in love with the time jump. But yeah, I'm actually really, really excited about the bell test with Kakashi too. I just think that's cool how they go back to the beginning (minus Sasuke - though I am eager to see timejump!Sasuke - jeez, show up already!). And you know the scene where Sakura shows off her strength is gonna kick ass. I can just imagine the kind of "pumping up" music they'll have in the background (maybe even a new theme for her? *shrugs*). And of course, I want to see Kazekage Gaara animated as well. *hearts in eyes* That's gonna be great.

But I think what I really, really want to see is the Naruto and Gaara stuff. Especially when chibi!Naruto breaks away from his crowd of "precious people" to go back for chibi!Gaara. I just know that animated scene is going to break my heart all over again. And then when the two shake hands! *__* Love. I have much love for that scene. *wishes Gaara and Naruto were best friends instead of he-who-went-to-the-snake*

But yeah... I'm just so excited for the new season to start. It's gonna ROCK!

I'd hate to rain on your parade... but just because a new opening/ending is starting doesn't mean that the fillers will end there... :/

The tea country arc went into the sound 5 opening for like an episode, and it sounds better to start right on 180, so don't count your fillers before they hatch and devourer more and more of our souls.

but it wasn't about the new ending/opening, according to some interview or whatever that someone posted here forever ago, it said the timeskip would start with the new season... so generally, I'm thinking that means they would start the season with the new canon.

Well since Dei is so girly-looking, they'll probably use a girl to do a male voice...and so people will argue that girls can have deep voices, and since it's a female seiyuu there's no telling, and Japanese pronouns are vague and...they'll just go on like that until kishimoto gives us a shirtless shot or something, and even then they'll just say he's flat-chested >\

LMAO. I can see that happening...but isn't there a picture of Dei shirtless already? That was one of the arguments someone gave me when I was pondering what gender he was. XD

And yeah, it's true that Japanese seiyuus don't really prove anything...prime example would be Paku Romi, who as far as I know has played more males than females.

Hm, I haven't seen it! But I just realized that most of the people who are convinced that he's female are PROBABLY men (correct me if I'm wrong) and if they find out he's flat-chested, they won't care anymore anyway ;)
