I knew what it said and thought "Gaara" before reading the information.

I need to get a life :P

It's also quite gramatically incorrect :P

That kanji doesn't look right. The second radical should be shin, right? I've seen variants with the "tsu" radical, but never with a "na" radical like that. Did they goof?

You're right, it should be like this: The "heart" radical 心 is missing...

Actually, that's the simplified Chinese version of the word. ^^v I figure the Japanese use that one, but for Chinese it makes sense.

*goes back into closet* ^^'

Thats actually different. I'd assume it meant something else... but apparently, they're making it the kanji for 'love'.

I think it might be the Chinese character for 'love,' actually, instead of the Japanese one, though I'm not sure. Simplified, that is.

*blinks* I thought something looked funny about it...

it's missing a radical... and the sentence is backwards if they want to make it the 'Japanese" way...

アニメ ゎ 愛

oh for certain-- I was just using that example with the kanji they provided. I would like your examples fit much better in the context of the word. ^_^

アニメ大好き (anime daisuki) would be more correct IMO.

Anime ga daisuki da, in my own opinion.

*doesn't have a neato Japanese font on his computer*

The Japanese themselves omit the particles with abandon (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%E3%82%A2%E3%83%8B%E3%83%A1%E5%A4%A7%E5%A5%BD%E3%81%8D), and it's snappier :P

I have that in shirt version. My mom got it for me for Christmas. Great, man. Now I feel embarassed wearing it. I wouldn't have gotten it in the first place because of $$, but she thought it was hilarious. Sigh. It was growing on me, too...Eh. Forget you! Now I'll love it's Chinese-ness all the more!!! *not actually upset*
