According to the latest Naruto esp 176 Opening fansub note from Dattebayo saying there will be 26 more weeks of fillers?! Please I hope this isn't true..! I certainly hope dattebayo was only joking about that '26 more weeks of filler' comment.. Seriously, not funny at all!

Where in the world did they get this info?? I looked up Dattebayo to see what going on, and hoping if there a forum linked to the site for more info..nothing..

I cannot wait till September for the real Naruto! Or shall I just take a 26 weeks break? *gonk*

No.. for the past 40 or so weeks, dattebayo has put a counter *during* the opening sequences that counted down how many more weeks of filler there were left. This week, it said this:

Well, if it is true, I'll be disappointed, as I really want to see Sasori and Deidara, but it's not the end of the world. I'll just go on watching and waiting; it's not like there won't be plenty of other distractions to keep me going in my wait (around 50 new shows starting in April - we can all find a friend to help us through the wait, I am sure! :D)

Those 26 weeks are a joke because NO ONE knows when the fillers will end right now~ Because the episode in which the real Naruto should've started is STILL a filler.

Fillers end in SPRING... Spring lasts until JUNE... So we have March, April, May and June to wait for the end of the fillers. If they did not end until the end of June... then Studio Pierrot did not follow their own schedule...

It's not true to some extent, because nobody knows. There might be 4 more weeks, there might be 7 more weeks or 26.

Dattebayo ALWAYS gets the fans in a rut. I'mma slit my wrist if Kishimoto makes more 26 weeks of fillers, that's fuckin' 6 months OR MORE (cause they sometimes skip weeks for 'break') of fillers, my friends already STOPPED cause it wasn't following the manga....they'll lose all their audience. Kishimoto-san doesn't make the fillers. He only writes the manga. Studio Pierrot writes the fillers.

Anyway... the only reason Naruto fillers are becoming agonizing to me is the fact that Bleach is now in full on filler mode (and will be for a loooong time) so I'm not exactly happy with my weekly releases anymore ;_; Because Bleach filler annoys me WAY more than Naruto filler ever did/will.

I don't know what it is about the Bleach filler that drives me nuts. Maybe I'm just tired of filler in general, lol. I think its because I've somehow managed to become "MANGA. IS. GOD." when it comes to Bleach ^^'; And I see too many... continuity problems when it comes to animating manga canon again.

With Naruto, essentially, the fillers have no effect on the true plot.
