Because the Narutard in me is BRIMMING with enthusiasm and love for the fandom, I bring ye a post that should stir the fangirls/fanboys in many.

For me the first fave was Takeuchi Junko (Naruto). She is LOVE. I don't know how she manages to do Naruto's screeches/screams or "dattebayo"s without losing her voice. XD I don't think Naruto would be half as bright/fun if he had any other voice actor/actress. XD

Second is Inoue Kazuhiko (Kakashi), for being so damn NATURAL at it. His little "fufu~" laughs KILL me every time. THIRD must be Kujira (Orochimaru). O__o Honestly, do I need to explain myself? She manages to sound like a sexy/freaky/pedophilic snake ALL AT ONCE. The woman deserves the props.

But for the win? ISHIDA AKIRA (Gaara). ♥ Dear God, I believe it was episode 67 that sealed the deal for me...

Because at first he started out all flat/emotionless and did a hell of a good job at it, but then in episode 67, when Gaara was sitting in his little sphere of sand and muttering insane ramblings to himself...*swoons* He just went from flat to BATSHIT INSANE seamlessly, and his hysterical, high-pitched giggling gave me goosebumps, literally. What killed me completely was Gaara screaming bloody murder and "OMFG MY BLOOD!" when Sasuke hit him with the Chidori. ♥ ♥ ♥

Now, I wait to see how the dub actors can match up. XD

First and foremost: Miki Shinichiro. Hi, Yoji Kudou from WK, and Naruto, to name a few of his works? His emotional range is impeccable and his singing blows me away when I hear it. I think he's an excellent voice actor and deserves any role he gets.

Next, we have Paku Romi. She plays a bunch of little boys [FMA, Shaman King] and really kick ass chicks like Temari. Girl's got range, and you gotta appreciate that as a voice actress. She's very, very talented and her voice is so uniquely her own. I love it.

Morikubo Shoutarou - Shikamaru, Kadaj and so on and so forth. Sure, you can usually pick out his voice when you hear him, but that's what makes him so great: He only needs the one, because his talent shines through regardless as to how many times you've heard the same voice in different things. The way he acts verses what you hear, is what makes each character their own. For a voice actress like myself with limited range, I have to admire that. >D [plus, my fiance would kill me if he saw that Morikubo wasn't on my list. >D; ]

Ishida Akira, if only because he's played a badass like Gaara and a whiny little piece of burnt pastry bread in the five minute anime "Kogepan." >D;

And, last but not least: Ino's seiyuu, whose name escapes me currently. Gotta spread around the Ino love.

Also, I want to give brownie points for Orochimaru's VA. Is it really female? That owns. You also have to love Takeuchi Junko.

I'm torn between Takeuchi Junko, Inoue Kazuhiko and Non-tan.

Takeuchi Junko:
- She is such crack! Especially on O!NN :D I grew to love her SO much after listening to those radio shows
- Fully agree with the screaming
- That episode with Haku where Sasuke gets hit with a bunch of needles... the CRACK she does in her voice was just so so... Eeeeeeee *incoherant*

Inoue Kazuhiko:
- I fangirl this man. I do not care that he is old. I DON'T CARE.
- His voice is just so much love. Guuuuuh.

Sugiyama Noriaki:
- NON-TAN YOU ARE ADORABLE. So ridiculously shy~ You make me giggle.
- I adore his voice. So nice to listen to.

Wait... crap, Paku Romi too. She is awesome and kicks so much ass. And Morikubo Shoutarou is so very cool, not to mention he has a very nice singing voice.

Kanna Nobutoshi and Miki Shinichirou I love for different reasons that have nothing to do with Naruto. XD Basara seiyuu!! and Urahara seiyuu!! respectively. lol

I love all three as well. ^o^ Sasuke was never one of my faves, but his voice certainly is. XD He manages to sound so serious and yet come off as slightly childish, and that just SCREAMS Sasuke. ^o^

Junko is AWESOME on the radio shows. I have no idea what the hell they're saying (for the shows that haven't been translated, at least XD;) but just listening to her sound so enthusiastic and hyper makes it fun to listen to anyway. ^o^

And there's NOTHING wrong with fangirling an older guy! XDDD *coughs* I fangirl Anthony Hopkins, for God's sake, and he's in his late sixties. XD Inoue MAKES Kakashi what he is. The dub actor can't compare.

Ooh~ and do you watch Full Metal Manic? Because I know that Urahara's VA does the voice for Kurz Weber. ^o^

Kujira/Waka-chan: Androgynous voices are so neat sometimes x-x Versatile maybe? Kujira mostly plays silly/cute chars; Oro has the perfect old man snake voice. Also, Kujira herself is rather humorous!

* Miki Shinichiro: My favorite seiyuu list is never complete with Shinichirou-sama!! Fly-guys, heroes, anti-heroes, etc...yet, Mizuki was a nut case. Not too fond of Mizuki but Miki is awesome

* Mizuki Nana: I only heard her as Hinata and another girl....god who doesn't like Hinata?

* Morikubo Shoutarou: SHOUTAROU SHOUTAROU SHOUTAROU!
* Ohtani Ikue: OMG the cuteness!

* Paku Romi: Temari, Hitsugaya, Ed, etc. Probably the new Ogata Megumi - the one with the sexy, husky/brooding voice.

* Katsuki Masako: K-senpai?? @#$%! Middle-aged smex Underrated female seiyuu; sweet range. Compared to her other chars, Tsunade is quite the husky/seme type...deep-voiced, dominant.

* Seki Toshihiko: I don't know where or how to start...he's awesome o.o

* Sugiyama Noriaki: AKA: Non-Tan. A new guy; Ishida and Sasuke. I always thought that was Sasuke's VA was impressive especially when he screams ^_~ like at Itachi angrily

Sugiyama Noriaki, I'm going to miss him in the anime so much, I think this is why I continue to watch the Bleach fillers, just to hear his voice. I'm going to miss him in Naruto so muuuuuuch... Honestly, I fell in love with him because of his Sexy no Jutsu Sasuke on Oo! Naruto Nippon >.>

And Ishida Akira because Gaara is awesome and he also did Athrun Zala's voice for Gundam Seed/Destiny. As soon as I heard Athrun's voice, I was like... "Oh god! Its Gaara-- with emotions that aren't rage/fear/etc!"

I <3 Seki Toshihiko. Not just for Iruka's voice, but for the fact that he also did Duo Maxwell's voice. <3 Duo Maxwell.

Kujira is pretty f-ing awesome too, because I would've never guessed in a hundred million MILLENIA that Orochimaru's seiyuu was female. Orochimaru's voice is so freaking unique, I've never heard anything else like it in anime. And that's a definite plus.

Ebara Masashi is awesome. He cracked me up in Peacemaker Kurogane and continues to do so in Naruto. X3 I still want him to exclaim "DRAGONBOYYYYY~" in Naruto somehow, haha.

Oh, and Katsuki Masako! I've loved her since her Sailormoon days. She does a great job as Tsunade.

Kosugi Juurouta is a guilty pleasure, because his voice extremely sexy but he's like as old as my mom. XD Very odd to me.

There are some other voice actors that are in Naruto that I enjoy in other works more... heh. I've spent hours just looking through that stuff. Total seiyuu nerd at times.

I love love love Seki Toshihiko!! OMG I FANGIRL HIM SO HARD!! DUO!!! SANZO!!! IRUKA!! OMG ALL MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS!! HE IS MAYBE THE SEXIEST UKE VOICE IN LIKE 3 YAOI ANIMES!!! *______________* AND HE IS JUST SO TALENTED AND CAN DO JUST ABOUT ANYTHING HE WANTS!! Hott... This man is sexy. Period. Ok. Done with the fangirling. But really, he is very talented. I have heard him do kind characters like Duo and Iruka, to "cold" hearted bad asses like Sanzo, to rebellious Ukes like Riki, all the way to smooth, sly, cunning men like Count D, to Crazy men like Mousse, to even evil bad asses like Legato AND SO MUCH more... He is just so talented. The man's voice gives me chills. I adore him. He always seems to play the characters I fall for.

After him, is Inoue Kazuhiko. God I love this man. He is a natural. He is really just so talented. He seems to do a lot of very pale colored hair people. Really! Kakashi, Gunter, Aion, Eiri Yuki, and I can't remember all of them, but he has at least 5 others. He has that smooth soft voice that fits softer haired people. He is just so awesome. I mean from mostly emotionless badasses to overly emotional eccentrics. Kakashi to Yuki to Hatori to Gunter to Aion and more... He is just... so! He is awesome. I love his singing. His voice is so beautiful. I really love him.

Miki Shinichiro... Is so hott. Katan, Mizuki, Taki, Robes, Mullin, Wolf.... KOJIROU (James), Larva, Yoji.... So many hott men! I love his voice. He does crazy mofo to the normal guy! He does bad ass best though. He does so many voices, but he really is best at badasses, eccentrics, and crazy guys. He is a bit more limited I think. I love him so much still. His singing voice makes me melt.

Ishida Akira... Is mmmm... Hakkai, Gaara, CHRONO, KAWORU... wait and did I say... XELLOSS!??!?! DID I SAY FISH EYE!!!?!?!?!? FIIIIISH EYE?!!??!?!?! OMFG*!@Y*&! #T!&@E$HU@QWBDASIT&! I love this man so much!!! He has not only done some of my favorite characters but he can do any voice he wants!!! Chrono, he went from cute kid, to hella hott adult!! He does cool smooth guys well... like smooth tone. Kaworu, Gaara(when he isn't going crazy), and Hakkai are GREAT examples!! But he does giddy evil guys like Xelloss and FishEye!!! Inoue Kazuhiko. It seems a bit cliché, I guess, since he also plays my favorite character, but... he totally made the character of Kakashi for me. When I read Kakashi in the manga, I liked him mildly. When I heard him in the anime...I fell in love. He's just... perfect.

Dude. One of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make. XD I don't base my decision on what anime I've heard them in... I base this on the sheer wow factor. Each time I hear one of these Seiyuu... my jaw drops.

Okiayu Ryoutarou pops to mind first. I know he was only in a small stint of a filler arc, but he's by far... one of my most favorite Seiyuu. He did the voice for Aoi in episodes 102-106. He's so talented, and I think about every time I hear his voice I calm down so much. Sometimes I pause in whatever I'm doing and just... listen.

Inoue Kazuhiko - There was a time when I'd only listen to the one song of his from another anime... it was the only thing that put me to sleep. His voice is also the reason I liked Kakashi so much.

Toriumi Kousuke is also on my favorites list. Every time I hear him as Sengoku from Prince of Tennis, or even in Naruto... I always hear a smile in his voice... or whatever emotion he's gotta use for that part, actually. He has one of the most expressive voices I've heard. I'm completely in awe of it.

Miki Shinichiro's voice just makes me quiver. No matter what I'm watching or listening to... chills just get sent down my spine when I hear this mans voice. Sometimes I can't belive that he can have such a sensative, caring voice one moment... and just jump right into the most evil, sadistic sounding, sexy, voice I've ever heard.

There's like... a million other people I wanna list, but don't think I could give great descriptions on why I love them so much. They're just... beautiful.

Its probably a toss up between Ishida Akira and Paku Romi. I die for Akira-san's soft emotionless Gaara... (and his Xelloss but thats another matter entirely) and Romi-san is teh love any way around it... <3

And Toriumi Kosuke... for adding voice to my fav character <3 (and for being the only one who's sexy no jutsu on the Oh!Naruto radio show that actually sounded dirty instead of just pervy ^_^;;;;)

I could probably add Sugiyama Noriaki to the list too... (even though I hate Sasuke with an undying passion) his voice didn't make very much of an impression on me when I watched Naruto. but then I switched to Bleach for a bit and when I came back to watching Naruto I had this dorky 'OMFG its Uryuu!' moment that makes me laugh looking back on it...

Inoue Kazuhiko, because his voice is the sexiest evah. I downloaded the song Furigana Rubi with Kakashi and Irukas voice actors singing it and it is TOTAL love. Everytime Kakashi talks it makes me sigh in fangirlly love.

Sugiyama Noriaki is my favourite seiyuu from Naruto. I got to love him in BLEACH and I fangirl him even more for Sasuke.

Other favourites are Ishida Akira (his talent is amazing), Inoue Kazuhiko (zomg he's such a wonderful Kakashi!), Ishikawa Hideo (I hate Itachi, but love his seiyuu), Okiayou Ryotarou (loved him as Byakuya in BLEACH).

Probably more, I have developed into a real seiyuu whore. xDDDD

I ADORE Lee's voice! ^____^ Honestly, he has the most realistic sounding voice for someone his age. Most of the guys have voices that are either a tad too deep (Shino, Neji) or extraordinarily screechy (Naruto). Lee's is just perfect.

Morikawa Toshiyuki (Kaguya Kimimaro): I fangirl Morimori shamelessly. He's awesome. The way he goes 'ho?' in a lot of his roles makes me giggle. 'Cause he's like... '...ho?' Heeeee. He just sounds like he's going '...oh, really?' and it's just funny. But you know what? The regular Morikawa Bishounen voice he uses most of the time is NOTHING compared to the voice he pulled off to voice Mummymon in Digimon Adventure 02 and Digimon X-Evolution. THIS is why I love him. Because he has the best goofy voice in the universe.

He also has a dog he's crazy about. I love that.

Miki Shin'ichirou (Touji Mizuki): He's really freakin' talented, he's kind of really genki IRL, and he's Kojirou in Pocket Monsters. That's all I'll say.

He also looks like a scruffy dog.

Ishida Akira (Sabaku no Gaara): Such an awesome voice. Such a CUTE guy. Also, he voiced Wizarmon in Digimon Adventure and I heart Wizarmon. ALSO, his Chibi Gaara voice is the CUTEST THING EVER.

Takeuchi Junko (Uzumaki Naruto): I've always loved her, ever since I heard her play Gomamon in Digimon Adventure and 02 and then Takuya in Digimon Frontier. Her voice is just really cute, and she has some awesome acting skills to back it up. I started watching Naruto only because I was told that she voices him. And I wasn't disappointed. After I started watching Naruto, I also heard her voice Dieter in Monster, and Dieter instantly became my favorite character because she voiced him (then I loved him also because he's just the most awesome 8-year-old ever). More love came when I started listening to OH! Naruto Nippon because-- she is SO cute. Seriously.

Sugiyama Noriaki/Nontan (Uchiha Sasuke): It surprises me, how he can act out the most angsty emo-kid in the world and yet be such a shy guy IRL. So CUTE! Seriously. And his Chibi Sasuke voice kills me with its cuteness. That's why I still love Sasuke. That's why I love Nontan.

Paku Romi (Temari): She's just plain AWESOME. Seriously. What an AWESOME voice. She's also kind of nuts. I like seiyuu and VAs who are nuts. They're the funnest.

My fav is probably Hideo-sama (I also have a fanlisting (http://www.ice-demon.net/hideo/) for him XD)... I love how he did Itachi... with this deep and calm voice... So sexy... It's my fav voice in the whole series.

And I totally adore the seiyuu because he is so damn cute and funny XD Love how he is totally obsessed with his cats... *laughs* You should listen to Oh! Naruto Nippon with him! He is singing "Silent Night" in it and is totally hyper most of the time XD

Sugiyama Noriaki is my second fav ^_^. Started to love him because of Naruto. Omg... if you ever listen to Oh! Naruto Nippon... he is so damn cute!!! *pokes non-tan-chan* Before I listened to those shows I just always thought: "Sexy voice..." But today I can't listen to this voice without thinking about how cute Non-tan is XD"...

Kujira... the reason is... you know why... This voice is so unique and great... There can't be a better voice for Orochimaru~

Hmmmmm, first and foremost Ishida-san, who is a yaoi/bishonen voice acting whore (Level C, Sukisho, Eyes from Spiral, ect). To be able to do Gaara (not just because he's one of my favorites) has to take a lot because, as you said, he started out so emotionless (which in itself is hard to do)--then he goes nuts and it's like, "Whoa... is that the same VA?" Then, god at the end of the fight with Naruto when he was laying there and was like, "Don't come near me!" He sounded so sad, so scared, it was just... wow.

I also love Naruto's VA because she goes through a range of emotions. Happy, super angsty, determined, ect ect. And she just sounds so damn cute (I giggle at the songs Naruto sings) ^__^ Huzzah for Junko :) I also loved Haku, for his short period of time, but Haku was so emotional--even if I had been told that he died I STILL cried (and Haku is also Hisoka from Yami no Matsuei ^__^;;;)

I love all of their voices! But the last two I have to mention is ShikaChou. I love how bored Shikamaru sounds and I love how cute Chouji sounds, they're so funny! But what sealed the deal (besides being a Chouji fangirl and loving ShikaChou) are the episodes when Chouji fought the guy from the sound village, won the fight, and walked up to the tree and just broke down. That was so touching, the way his voice just got softer, and softer, and more choked up. And then Shikamaru's little hit of denial when the butterfly came and you just KNEW he wanted to go back and check on Chouji, but he had a mission. All he said was, "It's nothing," but that + the look on his face in the animation was just awesome. Then when he broke down in the hospital, I was like, "Holy shit Shikamaru is crying!" Poor VA, to sound bored for like a gazillion episodes then suddenly having to sound a) intelligent (in his fights) and b) emotional (guilt, relief, frustration, ect.) had to take a lot.

And I'm sorry this was such a long response ^__^;;;

BUT OMG, AKIRA ISHIDA. I've gone out and hunted for anime titles that have him in them, regardless of whether or not I think I'll like the series or not. What I absolutely DIED over was one of the interviews with him and Junko, and he started it by doing Gaara's voice, then suddenly lapsed into his normal voice, which was so HAPPY AND ENERGETIC. XDDD

I believe it was the first interview with him, and there's a part where Junko's talking and he's all like:

"Hai hai hai hai hai," and OMG WHY DID HE SOUND SO SEXY THERE? *dies*

*drags self back into chair*

Takeuchi Junko is AMAZING. The range of emotion she gets into her voice without losing that boyish quality is absolutely superb.

Sugiyama Noriaki. No words. That man could read me the nutrition facts off a box of cereal and I'd hang onto every word. His voice is just plain sex.

Kuja just freaks the hell out of me because i can never quite tell if she's male or female.

Paku Romi is a really close second to Junko's awesomeness. The fact that she can go from the boys in Fullmetal Alchemist and Bleach to this strong, take-no-shit girl is totally awesome. Don't think her emotion is QUITE as great, though.

There are so many other voice actors that deserve praise but I just can't think of/don't know of. Props to all of them!

Kujira is definitely female, though it freaks the hell out of me to hear her in interviews on Oh! Naruto Nippon because her normal everyday voice sounds JUST LIKE ORO-CHAN ANYWAY. XDDD

And she's so hyper and funny and CRAZY in her interviews, that you can't help but get a mental image of Oro talking as if he's hopped up on crystal meth or something. XD

My first favorite is Mizuki Nana. She plays such a cute, and shy Hinata~ And I love how Wrath from Hagaren, also played by her, sounds nearly the opposite of Hinata. She's such a good VA.

I also ADOOOOORE Paku Romi. I think she probably did the best voicing Edward from Hagaren, maybe followed by Tao Ren from Shaman King ~ <3. She's an awesome VA when it comes to boys.

Last is...KANNA NOBUTOSHI OMG. HE VOICES PAI FROM TOKYO MEW MEW. OWAAAAH LOVE HIM~!!`!!1 SUCH A SMEXI-LICOUS VOIIIIIICE!
