...Sai's brother turns out to be Kabuto.
i dunno, reading through 300 and lingering on the panel where Sakura says "the center pages are Sai and his brother..." and just looking at the features of his brother, i couldn't help it when the thought that it might turn out to be Kabuto popped into my head. anti-climactic, awkward, premature or whatever, i don't know but it might make a little sense although the revenge-on-dear-older-brother thing is starting to get a bit old. who knows though? it might resolve some things on Kabuto's part of the story, one that is more or less filled with mystery. no one really knows his initiative yet, or what would "knock him back to his senses" (from being eebil, etc.) but i'm really going out on a limb here and this theory could turn out to be nothing, lol.

Date: 2006-03-26 03:13 am (UTC)promise it'll be over soon... or not LOL. there was something particularly creepy about Sai's little book and showing all these enemies his character is supposed to be fighting and defeating each time (almost like how i feel when people read or get them eerie tarot cards read to them). he's almost like a mirror to Sasuke when already people are comparing the two just based on looks and the circumstances (taking his place on Team 7, etc) and what the heck if my theory somehow turns out to be correct.

Maybe Kabuto is Obito... AH-HA! That's why his past is so shady. When he was smashed, all his hair fell out, and it grew back silver. Or maybe, he copied Kakashi's hair growing techniques with his sharingan, and he got new eyes... because he became really good at medical jutsus (from copying Rin) And that's how he know's he's as good as Kakashi during the Chuunin exams. And he came to Konoha as a little kid because... when he was smushed, it made him shorter. ??? OK, that's kinda gross.

Date: 2006-03-27 01:58 am (UTC)Let's see....three attempts to graduate, four years at trying the chuunin exams....I'd say he'd have been fairly young, at least. But it doesn't seem to say exactly. I really doubt much older than 6 or 7 by the sounds of things.

Date: 2006-03-27 01:11 pm (UTC)Someone on Narutofan forums put forth the theory that Kabuto might be a jinchuuriki, however, the only thing I can think of that would negate that would be: Why, then, would Sasori have given him to Orochimaru? Would Akatsuki have not extracted his demon already?
Though, it would be really cool if Kabuto were a jinchuuriki...^_^;
