I need some help everyone. On deviantart, there's some stupid guy claiming to have drawn a lot of different Japanese fanart ( http://shagman.deviantart.com ). Unfortunately, I don't have any of the original sites since my computer crashed and all my bookmarks were deleted. If anyone has links to the originals, I'd be able to report him. Any help is much appreciated.


EDIT [thanks Kylara] Please do NOT go over there and start bashing him or sending threatening emails. Admins do not appreciate it, and will judge against us.

It won't matter. The admins can most likely see the art he has removeed. Though it is kind of disturbing considering it's the only main evidence we have against him.

I also like how he deletes his past journals so that a lot of incriminating evidence against him is gone too~

The last time I found an art thief was some girl who had randomly faved something of mine - half her gallery was filled with artwork ganked from Keroyon, and the other half were other random Japanese Naruto fanart.

I simply asked her nicely to take it down, and explained how those kinds of actions cause the original artists to yank their websites from the internet (something I think these people tend not to realize)... And she did so, and apologized, much to my relief.

Just for future reference, it is my hope that this sort of approach works well with the kind of deviantArt art thieves... (Obviously, I'd rather not have people taking other people's artwork in the first place, but there's not much I can do about that. ..A lot of times when these things are posted to large communities and there's a huge hub-bub and anger about the thievery, the art thief in question gets defensive - and things aren't solved quite ask quickly.
