Sasori FanArt, Header, and Icon
Apr. 28th, 2006 10:20 amLast night, I was so frustrated with the horrible injustice I had done to Sasori in the fanart I posted last night that I stayed up late working diligently on another Sasori project, determined to come out with something decent. I would not stop till I was satisfied. I feel like I committed a crime or something! I mean, how dare I draw my favorite character so crappily! We all know I can draw better than that! ^o^ And I've been practicing alot on my coloring and I know I can do better than the crap I pulled out and posted. So... now I have something better. And I am so proud of it that I made a live journal header and an icon to go with it if anyone wants them.
Enjoy~
First off, here is the sketch I drew. I used THIS manga scene as my reference.

And then I colored the image useing what I learned from this omg so helpful tutorial found HERE. I know all you still learning to color artists, like me, will love it. <3

If you really like the image above, you can fave it HERE on Deviant Art.
And now for the Journal Header and the Icon that I made~ <3

Date: 2006-04-28 02:45 pm (UTC)I don't exactly go by the methods she used, I used her shading tips more than anything. Like, I don't redraw the picture or go through the whole penning process that some people do. (mostly cause I can't figure it out) Besides, I like seeing my original lines for some reason. My method might be a bit tacky, since I just put up my original sketch and then I make a new layer, set to multiply, and color on that, but it works for me. XD
