True Kunoichi Style

Well, I know everyone loves the sexy shoes that our favorite kunoichi wear, but they're so incredibly impractical for ninja. Yeah, they're cute but I'm sure that Kishimoto-san doesn't know a damn thing about wearing high heels. (At least... I don't think he does >.>';) Anyway, it was already stated during tree training that focusing chakra to the feet was pretty hard, and I'm pretty sure that wearing 4 inch heels doesn't make it any easier.

So... while I was shoe-shopping, by complete accident, I found real kunoichi sandals. ^.~

And of course, I just had to buy them... (well, I really did need sandals anyway... I was just lucky, lol.)



See? They're quite awesome, still feminine and cute, but the thick soles are ideal for circulating chakra to the feet.

And yes, my narutarding has reached new heights.

Hmm... well, I don't know if this store exists outside of Maryland, but its called Off Broadway. Its a pretty large store... I wish I could tell you the shoe brand, but since the shoes aren't with me (I'm on campus) I can't remember... ^^;

it's relatively inexpensive at PHP 369 (roughly US$7-8), and i just had the right amount with me so i bought it! i cosplayed shikamaru before so this is perfect for an updated chuunin version :)

Forget that, man, I've shoes like that (little taller though--closer to Tsunade's)... running's not too difficult, but with that they've got going: you'll probably break something long before even being able to focus the chakra into your feet. LOL

Judging by what can be seen of the logo, it looks like they are LifeStrides. And I know this cause I tend to buy the brand whenever I can find them in my size. My feet only want Life Strides. If you can't find them locally, you can find them at online shoe places, like shoes.com or zappos. They even have their own website too. Just thought you would like to know!

And I like these shoes too! Despite being a big fan of Naruto, I still would not have made the connection.

Well, they're not exactly the same. Tsunade is the first one seen in the sexy high heels, but Tenten and Hinata wear them post-timeskip as well.
