Cosplay Question

chuunin_archivePost-timeskip cosplay question, having to do with about chapter 260~ish.
And for those of you who will be at AnimeBoston, hope to see you there!
For anyone who has cosplayed Kazekage Gaara, or are, what did you do about attaching the gourd to yourself/your costume? I do not know if it is much different from pre-timeskip Gaara.
I am not cosplaying him myself, but I have in my possession a Gaara-gourd and the person to whom it belongs is perplexed about just how he is going to go about doing this. With only tonight and tomorrow left for him to figure it out, I thought I would give him a hand and ask people who knew.
