is ther anyone else but me who has realized that sasuke is probably going to get killed?

after having seen the whole kyuubi-thing i kinde have no hope for the boy anymore (or it could be because i've just seen the most depressing movie ever... never watch Underworld Evolutiong, dammit!). 

i mean, he didn't even react to the bakemono living inside naruto! sasu-chan has no feelings what so ever anymore, and i think that kishi-sensei did it like that so that he could kill him off easier!

please hit me in the head with arguments? convince me otherwise? i don't want to beleive this, i just can't help it anymore!

Maybe he already had a clue what there (inside Naruto) was so he wasn't that surprised?

I don't personally think he'll be killed, maybe he'll flee, win or just disappear without reason.

Actually, I believe that Sasuke's going to get killed for entirely different reasons.

But he does react to the kyuubi inside of Naruto. The translations read that he's pretty shocked and almost disgusted to find out that it's been inhabiting Naruto...though whether this is because there's a demon sealed inside of his once best friend or whether it's disgust that Naruto is "tainted" or whether it's Sasuke being pissed to realise at last that Naruto had a "cheat" available to him to power up with, who knows?
(Well, Kishimoto does, I hope.)

The next chapter will be the telling one on exactly how Sasuke views Naruto and the kyuubi's relationship.

Kishi ain't gonna kill off Sasuke! He's the number 1 character in the last popularity poll, and he's a main character in the plot. Now that he knows where Naruto's power comes from, he's gonna have a better idea of how to stop it if anything. I don't even think this is gonna be the main fight between Sasuke and Naruto right now. I have a feeling there's gonna be a small fight here...then right before Orochimaru needs Sasuke as a new container, the big fight's gonna bust out. In the meantime, something's probably gonna happen with the Akatsuki. That's just my little theory. And if you wanna throw in my crack theory too: I think Sasuke's gonna whoop Orochimaru's ass before he becomes his container. Cause Oro's gonna be at his weakest XD Then he's gonna ditch everybody to kill his Brother...and that's all I got. LOL so don't worry, Sasuke will definitely see another chapter. More like 347856843758436 more chapters haha.

haha... i wrote something about that in my LJ. i do reeeaally hope that kishi-sensei lets sakura be the hero in this one. he hasn't allowed her to do something truly useful in a while, and never so that naruto could se.

yeah seriously... on that page of the manga where she looked like she was about to punch him, i was like yeeees get him! Not cause i dont like the pairing, but i think she has the right to punch him in the face on this one xD

o-o; I was all ready for Naruto to go, hm.. I took his gesture of five fingers to be asking for that many tails, but I could be mistaken.. I wanted to see Sasu get a glimpse of Naruto's kyuubi self.

Anyone else got the idea in their head that Sasuke's Sharingan might be .. a little closer to Itachi's now? Somehow? *frown*

Maybe Sasuke will steal the Kyuubi right out of Naruto. Or maybe the Kyuubi will choose to inhabit Sasuke after Sasuke removes the seal. Afterall, Naruto doesn't want the Kyuubi anymore.

that was brilliant. and i don't think sasuke will get killed right away, as many seems to beleif was what i meant when i wrote this post. no, i just feel like kishi-sensei might be trying to make us hate him by making him act even more cold-hearted and stuff, so that we won't be that upset later, when he kills him of for the purpose of the series developement.

as if we wouldn't hate him for it anyway. tch.

but i'll hope, always hope, that sasuke lives. i love the little bastard, and i don't want him gone, i want him happy!!

Glad to hear that, Elicit-san. :-) However, merely judging from the current comments you are receiving for this post--I believe that, unfortunately, there are still some people who believe that Sasuke's fate for the manga is death.

Nevertheless, it is always nice to see another face from the crowd who believes Sasuke will not get killed for once. (And interesting theory you have there. Perhaps, that is truly what Kishimoto is planning.)

Seriously, if Sasuke dies, that is the END of Naruto as the series. o__O 1) Fangirls would assassinate Kishimoto all at once, thus ending Naruto. 2) Most of the plot revolves around Sasuke, whether you like it or not. XD

Considering Sasuke was able to mindfuck Sai just by glaring at him, who knows what Sasuke can do ALREADY INSIDE NARUTO'S BRAIN. XDDD AHHAHA.

... *pats* Path of the manga: Redemption. Favorite character of Kishimoto: Sasuke. Favorite character of the fans: Sasuke.

Sasuke's just gonna be shown that Sakura and Naruto are gonna follow him no matter what. The hard way.

Plus Sasuke is the plot of the manga. Really -- 3/4 of the manga relies on Sasuke. And it would make Naruto go completely _nuts_. Unless the manga drops in popularity DRASTICALLY pretty soon, we're stuck with Sasuke.

Yeah I know it will take a bit for them to die but I think this show's going to end with a LOT of people dieing. Let's see I think.....Naruto, Sasuke, Kisame, Kakashi(well Kakashi might live), Sai, Orochimaru, and Kabuto will all die. I think Itachi's going to live because they just CAN'T kill him. If they tried to kill him off then like 5,000 fan girls would die and Sasuke would be at a loss of what to do with his life (assuming that he's still alive at that point). I mean Naruto is not like Host Club, in Host Club you angst you go sit in a corner, if you angst in Naruto you go kill your most important people. Naruto's not cracky enough to have it so if they fail at one thing they go try something else. If you loss your purpose in Naruto you ether A) change your WHOLE life (Neji and Gaara) or B) DIE (Haku and Zabuza *crys* WHY DO THE COOL ONES DIE!) So by the end a LOT of people will be dead. The only reason I think that Sakura will live is because I think that she'll be in the last panel, with Tsunade and Jaraiya looking at the memorial

Sasuke is just oh-so full of himself. Having spent those 2.5 years learning cool tricks in quite a safe environment made him think he is all that. And I don`t suppose Orochimaru has ever tried to psychologically bring his student down.
The kid is just spoiled. And a teenager.
Let`s wait till the special boy faces the real world. You know, people who just want to bring you back to your village and live happily ever after aren`t the only folks to hang around. The first person/animal/inner demon to hurt Sasuke gets a candy from me.

PS: I don`t really hate Sasuke. I`m just bored with "being cool is so this season" from both Uchihas. Let`s move on to somehting interesting already!

Sasuke will not die. Kishimoto said it himself, once--without Sasuke, the story's got nowhere to go.
