And of course, Sexy no Jutsu would make one final appearance before ANOTHER time skip to See SasuNaru babies and little artistic Sakuras. And one of the little Sasukes throwing fans with perfect aim? o__O

I agree. Although, hitting Sasuke in the "area" might cause thousands of Sasuke-whores to gasp and scream at the manga though.

...unless they like the idea of comforting him. But, lo, that would be Naruto's job as they take him back to Konoha ~~if that knocks him unconscious, which would be even more funny. XD~~

Hmm... I am a Sakura fan, but I doubt she's gonna get any action. So far she hasn't and we can probably assume she'll be the one who's not doing anything this arc. Like, in the rescue Gaara arc Naruto was the one who didn't do much...

Sakura's gonna cry, because noeone else is going to, maybe Naruto, but onyla slim chance in anger tears or something.

Yamato is who I'm betting on is going to die. He already got stabbed and stuff, and yeah...

Purely for the logic in storytelling-- Sasuke will eventually return to Konoha. I don't necessarily mean that it'll be a ticker-tape parade type of thing, though. He could come back and die in a noble way... or something equally redeeming. If Sasuke were to remain estranged from the village, he'd just be repeating Orochimaru's role in this Sannin-Team 7 paralell. If both stories remain completely parallel, then there's no point.

And about Sakura, I really really thought she was gonna get through! I was nearly cheering for her, and then Yamato jumped in. I really think that Sakura would've dodged the sword instead of attempting to block it. Considering the training she got from Tsunade, she was taught to evade attacks rather than block them. Man... she could've evaded and then WHAM! XD

Naruto will cry. I mean, you have to think about who's writing the manga and that it's all about Sasuke now, not what would make sense.

If we stick to things that make sense, Sasuke will be dead by the end of the arc. But seeing as that's impossible, we'll lose Sai because he was just entertainingfiller to Kishimoto. Expendable.

Sasuke will only return to Konoha in a war, as a prisoner, or dead. Not willingly.

Sakura will NOT punch Sasuke. It is too predictable (and every fan wants it) so it will not happen.

Nobody will die because nobody dies in Naruto unless their death is needed for a new arc to follow (like Sarutobi`s death lead to Sannin). Now the story is focused on Sasuke so whatever happens to "filler/background" characters will not have any effect on the main storyline. So what is the reason to kill them? There is none.
Sai`s death would only steal attention from Naruto/Sasuke drama (no yaoi, please). Yamato`s death would make no sense whatsoever.
So, yep, nobody dies, sorry.

I hope there will be no tears. Sasuke is obviously not turning good for many chapters to come so no happy tears are expected. Then, how much more betray-and-stub-you-in-the-back(with-my-special-sword) can he do soon to make Sakura`s and Naruto`s hearts break AGAIN?

Will Sasuke ever return to Konoha? I have nooooooo idea. Maybe he will have his last duel with Itachi in the Uchiha`s backyard. Or maybe he will be buried as a hero under a shiny memorial. Some years will pass before we find out.

I almost squealed with joy when Sakura tried to punch him this chapter. If she actually gets a chance to hit him... oh, man. I will be one happy fangirl. Seriously -- if SasuSaku becomes canon before she gets a chance to get a good whack in, I'll be very disappointed.

I was one of the people who voted Sai will die. His conversion from "I have no emotions I have no emotions I have no emotions... did I mention I have no emotions?" to "WOW! I AM TOTALLY INSPIRED BY THE STRONG BOND YOU TWO HAVE! :DDDDDD IT REMINDS ME OF WHEN MY BROTHER WAS STILL ALIVE!!! :DDDD!!!" was a bit too fast, jarring, and seemingly overly simple. o__o; It's SEEMS like Kishimoto is rushing Sai's change so his death could be done and overwith. Usually the other characters with more gradual/dramatic change, usually by getting the snot beaten out of them by Naruto, (Gaara, Neji... and I guess there are a few others I somehow forgot right now XD;) don't get killed off because Kishimoto "tried harder" on them. :/

However this could be up to debate. Sai is still in this Roots organization and what they're plotting seems to be extremely important to the future storyline, so Kishimoto may let him run around for the sake of that. xD

I thought his sudden transition was just, bizarre. I expected Kishimoto to put more...time into it. Like you said, with the other characters it took more than 3(or so) chapters for them to switch ideas. Sai's was just switched on like a lightswitch for lack of a better metaphor. XP

Yup. Who knows? I do wonder what's going to happen and all within the next few chapters. Cause they will most likely decide where the storyline goes for the next few months/or maybe years. Whether it takes a turn a becomes like Inuyasha(no harm meant to those fans in any way), it just winds itself down, or Kishimoto makes an abrupt ending.

Wow, Kishimoto should definitely play his cards right with the next few chapters. There are so many issues to deal with right now... the Hokage business, Sasuke getting power, the jinchuuriki, the Akatsuki, the Roots... X__x; There's a huge potential in Naruto (the series) to continue and then end with a bang, and also potential for it to flop, but I hope Kishimoto can tie all this chaos in by the end. :D

And out of curiosity, what did happen to the Inuyasha series? I never read/watched the series before, I just heard of it being called "DBZ for girls". o__O;
