Episode 186.

For those who've seen episode 186... what was YOUR opinion about it?

In my opinion, the ending was fine, the father wasn't dead and everyone in the family didn't end up feuding over the family fortune, who was getting it, etc. However, laughing shino, the weird pranks, the song that "Otou" sang, wasn't funny, just disturbing. What was more disturbing was when Tsukiko's husband ... did that little clown faced dance. I thought it looked really ... wrong, if you get what I'm saying. You serious? I actually thought it was a decent filler for a change, EXCEPT for the ending, which was just a little too... well, not to my taste. Crack fillers = love. x)

i'm so with you. everything was wrong in this one. the cutting, the way people reacted... it just makes the series riddicculous when they does these kind of episodes. naruto is (no matter what some might say) a deep series, and the messages is about friendship and loyalty... about beleiving in one self and change and grow.

i ahve no idea what the anime-makers think about this, but honestly, they're destroying the whole thing with their fillers. i'm beginning to lose faith in them for real now.

but i have to admit that shino's little moment in the end, when he grabbed naruto and forbade him to ever tell anyone in konoha about all that happened, i thought it was rather funny :P

I'm with you too, Naruto may be silly and such but this episode kind of made a complete joke about a series that is really deep. Trust me, I'm also with you on losing faith too.

Yeah, I really liked the very end where Shino grabbed Naruto. xP That was the only funny bit in the whole episode.

But the rest of it... was a complete nightmare. I didn't find anything funny. And they just completely ruined Shino's image. I'm a Shino fan... ;_; Shino would never ever laugh, or even show show his mouth. Apart from in this filler, has anyone ever seen him show his mouth? No, right?

Now let me go hide myself and cry over the ruined image of dear Shino...

isn't it fun how the fillers have kind of become a lesson in survining? can you live through a whole naruto-filler without crying, backing your head against the screen until you faint or committing suicide? if you can without doing any of these things, you're a reeeaaly tuff person...

Actually, I like the fillers so far. I think the only ones I end up hating were the Mizuki arc (cause it was mad boring and featured Tony the tiger) and any of the Hinata based arcs because I don't think they did her character any justice at all.

I don't think these fillers would have been so much of a big deal had they been scattered around the series instead made into two seasons (I think...they did say part II would be coming soon, so I keep faith XD). It does drive people crazy especially when they want to move on with the story, but personally I'd rather have filler than nothing at all (I guess cause I just love the series that much). And then there's always the option of just ignoring them and pretending that this season never happened and sticking to the manga.

186, was fine. The crack of it all was amusing (except the song cause I really didn't get it, but the fact that it was Shino who did it made me laugh). But hurray for happy ending. The ending with Shino threatening Naruto was obviously the best part. It was so odd hearing Shino laugh though, but still amusing. XD

Oh yes, a true Narutard you are! I guess fillers are better than nothing, but some rather just watch nothing and just read the manga (though I just watch the anime, since I'm so lazy to read up to chapter 309+). I think the laughing Shino ruined the image of a quiet and solemn Shino for a lot of people, however. ;x

Yeah, probably. XD I think I was the same way with the entire series to begin with. I really wanted nothing to do with it, and then I started reading the manga and got hooked, so all well.

As for Shino, just pretend it never happened. Kishimoto had nothing to do with it, so no fears. Just treat it like a 'what if' episode. It's crack. It's only meant for amusement nothing more. XD

I've hated most of the fillers, but I thought this one was hilarious. Shino's utterly serious Shino-ish attitude, in between all the... snickering was really amusing. At least IMHO. The plot itself was trite, but eh, they've come up with a lot worse.

I understand what you're going through *all most KILLED computer* But When I sat doen and started to yell at my DAD about all the fillers I went in on how it's TOTALLY killing the mood for the later episodes then I was like wait a minnet are they trying to lighten the mood for the laater episodes or are they just being dick heads or *le gasp* are they going to make Naruto a light fluffy show and cut out all the dark crap T-T god I hope it's the first one!

Not as good as the Lee/Gai imposters crack episode (MY FAVORITE SO FAR <3;.), but this one made me giggle XB.

Soo... how many more weeks of filler again? *le sigh*
