I have a request for all you kind Chuunin folk. I think I'm going to attempt Orochimaru cosplay for Otakon this year, but because I have to fly from LA, getting his giant purple obi to Baltimore poses a problem for me. So I'm looking for alternative outfits XD

Any screencaps of Orochimaru's other costumes are very appreciated :D Also, what anime episodes/manga chapters they appear in, for referance.

I really don't think the obi would be the big of a deal to travel with, you might need to put it in a bag and check it but you could still get to there. If you really don't want to do that, cause checking bag is pain in the ass, he does have some other cool outfits.
During the exam he is in a dark colored vest, shirt and pants that would not be hard make.
38 and 40 have some good shots

Ooo you could go as him when he was in the kazekage (not sure if I spelled that right) outfit, That would be cool, cause people would think you were cosplaying as the Kazekage and then be like WOW your Orochimaru. ^_^

I don't have and screen caps right now but I can get some if you need/want them.

Young = 139, 153 (chapter art)

bandages + Akatsuki ring = 140

Pajamas = 153, 177

Pajamas + Coat = 153 - 157, 161?

"Teenage" = 160, 237

No clothes (couldn't resist!) = 198

Kimono thing = 199

Bandages (after transfer) = 201 - 202, 216 -217, 238

Random chapter art kimono = 123

e_e And that's it. Sorry I only have manga references, but I don't even watch the anime. >_> If you're planning on doing a Kusanagi, I could find specific chapters numbers for you, but generally he just uses it versus Sandaime, Tsunade and ... in Part Two. X3 Good luck with your cosplay!
