XD Tired of me yet?



First off, the watercolor:



The story: It started out as Kakashi killing Iruka with chidori. *sounds morbid* I really think that at some point, Kakashi might turn on Konoha (or at least be suspected to), and I was thinking how Iruka would be one of the first ones to be more prominent in the series.
Anyway, I decided I didn't feel like drawing Kakashi, so it ended up as just Iruka dying. 8D~


Now, the next one.



The story: Not many people draw Sai a lot yet; I wanted to try my hand at it. This, well, I'm in love with the style of makeup/woodcutting, so I tried to use it here... You'll notice that Sai is the only one smiling; I wanted to make it evident that he isn't quite in the group yet... it seems to me that he doesn't take it quite seriously enough, almost like he is just pretending. Don't get me wrong; I'm totally open to Sai being a more major player in the future, but at this point, his character is underdeveloped and it's hard to understand him.

I really love the first picture. I think its the desperation and disbelief on his face. The slouched stance of the hit is beautiful. Poor iruka. You know, I loved Iruka until Kakashi came along. I'd really love to see what your kakashi would look like if you drew him. Very inspiring picture.

I love Iruka too!! <3 I think he has the potential to be a much more important character, given his background and personality, but Kishimoto has yet to use him in anything too important since the beginning of the series...

Love your art, and Sai's smile does fit very well - like he knows something the others don't. And your speculation on Kakashi is interesting, I could kinda see it.
