Before I start, let me say that yes, we are adding to the onslaught of RP ads. We humbly beg forgiveness for the spammage. Cut for a spoilerific banner.

I introduce to you narutorp, a (duh) LJ based NarutoRP. In this game, the Sound 5 never made their fateful journey to retrieve Sasuke and the Sasuke-Lurves-Barrel arc never took place. Instead, a year has passed in tentative peace. Many of Konoha's genin are now chuunin and Orochimaru is still looking fervently for a vessel.

We are in DIRE (and I mean, DIRE) need for Orochimaru, Shino, Asuma, Kankuro, Baki, Sasori, Zetsu, Shikato and Jiroubou. We like new people, so you may also apply for characters not listed on the info page (as long as they're not dead -- no ghost Hayates, sorry.)

Applying is super simple. All you need to do is drop a sample post here, to narutorp_apps, our brand spanking new application community. It also might help to read up on what existing players are up to.

Since we are no longer following the manga plotlines, characters have a lot of freedom to do -- well, pretty much whatever suits their fancy (within reason). It's really a lot of fun, so please consider applying~!

I was reading the YTV website a few days ago for updates about the Naruto Release in Canada (Sept. 16) and I found this:

I read an essay titled Miki, Mikage, and Genius, which used the common characteristics of geniuses to interpret and analyze two genius characters of the anime Revolutionary Girl Utena. Much to my surprise, a lot of what was written very much applied to the character Uchiha Itachi. This discovery spawned a short series of essays/analyses listed below:

Part I is an analysis of how Itachi's family, environment, and mindset affected his views on life, and how this lead him to become the cold-blooded killer we know today.

Part II is a comparison of Pre-Massacre Sasuke to Post-Massacre Sasuke; what changed in him, what didn't, and why.

Part III is a link to a previous post of mine describing my interpretation of the younger male section of the Naruto fandom and their thoughts on Sasuke.

Part IV is a short list of other recommended analyses from different fandoms.

In _rokudaime_ a new plot arc has arose and it is the perfect opportunity for new players to jump in! And we need new players of many of the main characters.

We recently started a timeline of the most recent ongoing events so our roleplay is on track. Now new players can join, read through older posts that are useful, and jump into the game.

We also have a friends console update so you can easily update your friends’ list.

If you would like to apply, please contact one of the mods of the roleplay; asukaisms, fated_bird, or weapon_love since we are currently working on a new method of application. Tell us the character you are interested in and we will check to see if that character is open.

Under the cut I will place a short summary of what is currently happening so you can either read that or you can check out the timeline.

Okay, I was in a conversation with a friend over what currently happening in the manga, mostly about Gaara and such.


When I made up a list of what I believe is going to be the sequence of events in the following manga.
