So, the story is I got a tablet for my computer animation class, and of course I can't wait to try it out. I can't draw to save my life, but I'd done some random mouse-and-photoshop chibis before. I thought I'd try out my tablet doing something like that.

At first, I was only going to draw a little Haku chibi.

That somehow spawned into... well, this. It all happened so fast, before I knew it I was drawing something so grossly cute I felt my teeth were going to start hurting.

Naruto Re-read?

Hi everyone,

Okay, the idea is blantantly stolen from the fma_reread community, but I really like it, so here I am.
I'm wondering if any of you were interested in re-reading the Naruto manga together. Basically, there would be one post per week covering one volume of the manga (This is just an example, but since there are so many chapters already, one chapter per week definitely wouldn't ork. We'd never catch up. *g*) with a brief summary, the new things we learned back then and things like foreshadowing. We could discuss the chapters, remember our favourite moments between the characters or mention things we, for once, didn't like. (All in a friendly atmosphere, of course.)

It's just that I'd love to do something like that, but I can't do it on my own. (But hey, Naruto is all about teamwork anyway, right?) So, would anyone here be willing to help me, or is there any interest in this project at all?
Please tell me what you think about it.

Seriously... I'm not Japanese, and don't really make it a point to learn it, but I love Anime and manga, and pick up what I can. That doesn't mean I'm fluent in it, and I'm assuming most fans in the states, our outside Japan aren't either. The point being... I am about to burst if I don't get a proper translation of this guy's name, so someone fluent in what Japanese they know, seriously... pick one please before I shoot the sheriff.

Kakazu, Kakuza, Kakuzu, or Kakaza?

The first one I saw was Kakuza, and now I'm used to it, but all these different versions are driving me insane, and now that I'm used to it, I'm gonna be frustrated if it's wrong.

Re-reading Naruto!

Hi again ^^,

Quite a few people seem to be interested in the idea of re-reading Naruto together. Ah, that makes me all giddy ♥.
Anyway, I went ahead and created a community for our little project, naruto_reread. You can (hopefully) find everything you need to know there, both in the userinfo and in the actual posts. So, if you're interested, please go there and have a look. Especially at the "signup" post. I found out that making a discussion post is lots of fun, but I can't make two of those every week...
The first discussion post for the chapters one and two is already there, so it can all begin now... or as soon as I'm no longer the community's only member.
