Welcome to The Weekly Metropolitan, a multi-fandom (anime/manga/videogame), AU roleplay. What's with this place, you ask? Your character now lives in the prosperous city of Metropolis (creatively named, I'd say) and has decided to get a job in the journalism business. This is office luff, fluff, drama, and violence(?!) all rolled into one. Your goal- get the freaking paper out by the end of every week! Plop your character in the midst of a hellish workplace, and they'll end up praying for mercy during the ungodly hours of Saturday night, praying for the holy Sunday morning to come and for those bicycle-riding kids to take your stuff and throw hundreds (maybe even thousands) of copies of your hard work into the driveways of sleeping civilians. During your (few-ish) off hours, you're free to explore the city and take advantage of the many things it has to offer (feel free to use your imagination >D!) BUT YOU DON'T CARE! SO, IMPORTANT FACTS OF NOT SPOILERY GOODNESS to cover before we delve into my report of this week's episode (which I thoroughly enjoyed, and think you will too).
NOT SPOILERY INFOS: Neji makes the BEST faces EVER, Gai is my personal hero, Kisame is wonderful andrhole will want his babies AGAIN after this episode, Itachi still has no penis and makes me lol, The Gregorian Chants of DOOM are back, and THERE WAS SOME CREEPY ASS MUSIC playing outside today, which has NOTHING to do with Naruto but I thought it was amusing, and this week's omake pwns you. Seriously, it does. Oh, and no new ending theme, YAY, cause I really like the Homade Kazoku ep, it makes me happy.
( Despite the dragged out bits and gags, I was highly amused and think you will be too. OMG, they did something RIGHT. Deidara stop making me LOL, PLZ. )
As a public service announcment: There is no Shippuuden next week. Boo. Just so you know.
